Hi Friends and Happy Tuesday! As you can see Hello Monday is a day late due to our Holiday Weekend! If you blogged today and shared about your weekend, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below! Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by!
Here is what our holiday weekend looked like
Thursday
The weekend started for my girls on Thursday. They had friends over to swim so I worked from our back deck...definitely achieved one of my summer goals and that is to take that laptop outside more often...working from out there makes me more grateful for what we have and for the flexibility I am allowed and seeing my girls happy and excited makes everything worthwhile.
Friday
It was business as usual and then we headed out to grab a quick dinner at Red's in town...just our little fam... and started talking about our anticipated weekend and how excited we all were
That night, we got packed up and I got our food prepped...this is my patriotic snack mix and always a crowd pleaser...as you know I am a sucker for all things Red, White and Blue!
Oh and here are my patriotic nails...ha!
Saturday
We took our time getting all organized and finished packing while the rain moved on through and then we took off for the McLain's Lake House up at Lake Winnipesaukee...one of our happy places!
This view never gets old!
On the boat a little after noon...
Eva's Turn to "Drive The Boat"
Then we brought the kids home and they got started on a movie project they are were working on...and the adults got ready and headed to our Tiki Boat ride which was postponed from last year since it was a crazy storm...we couldn't wait to make this happen again...we had done it two years ago and had a blast and this time...it didn't disappoint!
Then, back at the house, the kids were chillin and the adults got our amazing dinner ready- lobster rolls -sliders and the best sides that everyone contributed to.....
After dinner, we played our favorite music trivia and got silly...there were fireworks going off...but I didn't get a great pic....
It was a full and fun day all around...one of the best!
Sunday
We were up bright and early and then took our time having coffee on the deck...making breakfast and getting ready for a great day on the boat...we even got to enjoy the golf cart parade! So patriotic and SO FUN :)
Beth Ann's Amazing Strawberry Bread
Then it was time for a full day on the boat....it was a beautiful day on the water
We got back to the house around 5 and started to get ready for our dinner out.
We headed to Canoe where we went last year and loved it- there was great food....delicious wine and plenty of laughs...and obligatory photos of course!
Such a great day!
Monday
Happy Fourth!
We were up bright and early to drive home.
We stopped at the cemetery to wish Grammy a Happy Birthday
Kayla and Marshall stayed with Remi and thank God he was a good boy for them and didn't try to run away again!
and our parents and my brother came over and we celebrated the 4th together...only got a pic of the kids...sigh....but it was a great day :)
What were you up to? How as your 4th? Hope you enjoyed celebrating

Great pictures from your amazing weekend, Holly! The water and view from the house and boat are gorgeous. Family, friends, 4th of July- it hardly gets any better than that ;). Have a great Tuesday!
What a great weekend Holly! That tiki boat looks so fun! I love all of your red, white, and blue! Have a great week!
No wonder it's one of your favorite weekends of the year; that looks so fabulous! I love your nails and that tiki boat looks like a lot of fun.
So much FUN!!
Sounds like a perfect weekend! That lake and view are gorgeous. I love a lake view!
I loved looking at all your fun summer pics! Looks like you all had a wonderful long weekend. The lobster rolls look delicious. Lobsters here cost an absolute fortune, years ago my husband and I went to a place where they had lobster rolls on the menu. I was so excited to try one as I had only ever seen them on other people's blogs. When they arrived at our table, the rolls were about as long as my finger and cost $20 each. I kid you not!!
