Hello Monday! (July 11, 2022)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  How was your summer weekend?  Ours was so relaxing and much needed!  If you shared about your weekend today, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below!  Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by!

Here is what our little weekend looked like....

Friday Night

Rob and I grabbed a quick dinner at Coach Stop and got some dinner for Diana so she could eat in the car.

Pidge was staying the night with Papa and the three of us were heading up to the McLain's lake house again.  Diana was going to hang with Caden and the adults were FINALLY off to the concert that was supposed to happen in 2020!  It was postponed of course...and then postponed again last year...so third time is a charm right?  The wait was SO WORTH IT!

The Bank of NH Pavillion in Gilford NH is my FAVORITE venue...it is so relaxing and chill especially when you get lawn seats...it was an amazing show...brought back so many college memories and LOVED the bands and had a great night all around!

First getting there...grabbing our cocktails and posing for a few pics of course ;)

Then the first band was one of my faves, Toad The Wet Sprocket (I may have a crush on the lead singer....swear he never ages and his voice is still gold...insert heart-eyed emoji here)

The next band was Gin Blossoms- is there anything better than Found About You?  Follow You Down?  Or Jealousy?  I think not!

and the headliners were Barenaked Ladies or BNL...my least fave band of the three but they still rocked it!

Such a GREAT show and GREAT night with besties!  On the drive back to the house, I had to snap a quick pick of the famous Weirs Beach sign :)

After a nightcap and snack mix, we all crashed!

Saturday

We headed home first thing and determined we would enjoy our relaxing day!  We went for a family walk with Remi (minus Diana who was doing her sullen teenager thing) and then we got changed and spent a good part of the day in the pool and outside

Ally took Diana out for Poke Bowls and catching up- love their relationship :)

Later on, Daddy cleaned out our pantry cabinet...Praise God!

I took a much needed nap!  Then made us a cozy summer dinner

Summer Cavatappi complete with fresh tomatoes, corn and zucchini!

Then Daddy headed to a gig and Eva and I watched some Broadway videos on Youtube while Diana performed Waitress in her room ;)  We all fell asleep pretty early which felt like heaven!

Sunday

We had a leisurely start to our morning.  I made a salad and dessert to bring over to Beth Ann's later on...we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast and then headed to mass.

After mass, we headed over to Beth Ann and Matt's for a summer cookout and to meet some family and friends we have heard so much about!  It was a great afternoon....Eva and her "new parents"...she is too funny

Maddie and Henry- just love them

Last night, we let Diana be in charge (Papa was our backup) and we headed out for a date night to see the new Elvis movie- it was incredible- highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet- I hope to see some Oscar nominations coming from this one!

Happy Monday!  Hope you all have a great week!

What a fun summer weekend! That pool is gorgeous. Thanks for the Elvis rec - I want to see it. I have only seen one or two summer movies and I usually see a lot more!

That concert sounds amazing. So BNL headlined it?? I didn't think they were bigger than Gin Blossoms or TTWS. Better late than never for the concert, huh?! The pool party looks like so much fun. Your friends have great summer accommodations! (Though you do, too, with your backyard pool). I hope you're having a great Monday!
