What I'm Reminiscing About
Our Wonderful Weekend on the Cape
Everything was
perfect...so melancholy that it is over but it goes down as a tie for #1
as my favorite weekend all summer- it ties with our Wizard of Oz
Weekend at the start of summer! :)
What I'm Loving
Snuggle time with Remi :)
What We've Been Up To
We enjoyed some of the Olympics- typically we love them and devour them- this year it just felt different-sigh
We said Goodbye to Father Brian- my favorite priest of all time
We enjoyed watching the girls in their Triple Threat Performances- some live action but mostly films this year- a bit disappointing
Date Walks Have Continued....
as has time spent with the Soul Sisters
The girls were so excited to spend time with their Dance Idol Gabby
and we enjoyed a date night while they were "hangin"
and Mama and Daddy enjoyed one golf tournament with besties this summer anyway
We loved watching the girls in the town's drama camp performance of Beauty And The Beast
Mama and Pidge enjoyed a cozy Friday night watching Beauty And The Beast while Diana enjoyed a sleepover and Daddy was at his gig
While Mama and Diana enjoyed the Annual Mom and Daughter Boogie Board Day...
Daddy and Pidge enjoyed the arcades :)
Mama and Eva Time at the Park? Check!
Diana completed two weeks of Dance Intensives- she worked really hard and had a blast!
Mama enjoyed another installment of Book Club- GREAT READ!
and Mama has been busy planning for the 10th Annual Blackout Cancer Game for Windham and all of the events that go on with that....excited to say we sold a record # of tee shirts this year so the game should be bigger than ever and ALL proceeds go to research and funding for Pediatric Cancer
We celebrated Papa Pete's 80th Birthday with a Surprise Weekend at The Cape!
What I'm Dreading
A small procedure I have to have on Thursday...it should be quick but uncomfortable and nerve-wracking- can't wait for it to be over!
What I'm Working On
My Job, My Health, Getting Organized for the School Year and Blackout Cancer
What I'm Excited About
A Quiet and Cozy Friday Night...do I sound boring? old? I DON'T CARE...ha!! Cracking up!
What I'm Watching/Reading
Just Binged Encore! (It's on Disney+) If you like musical theater you need to check it out!
Rob and I are watching Ted Lasso and that is cute and good for some laughs....love Jason Sudakis
and my two books for August were both great!

and The Hot Flash Club by Nancy Thayer
What I'm Listening To
It's funny...I am still loving the songs I shared last month AND Pidge has taken a liking to jazz music too so you will often hear jazz playing here in the house and in the car...she now says "Alexa, play jazz!" Kills me :)

Sounds like a great month! I have to go read about your weekend at the Cape now as it sounds fantastic. Also, I too am looking forward to a quiet and cozy Friday night! Hahaha!!!
So much good stuff! I will try those chicken meatballs- always on the lookout for new ideas. Looking forward to the birthday recap- it looks like the girls had a blast.

I just read The Hot Flash club this week and picked up book #2 in the series today! It was such a cute story. Best of luck on your procedure.
