  What I'm Reminiscing About

So much.  When we watched Ramona and Beezus as a family, I reminisced so much about when the girls were little-brought back some wonderful memories :)

What I'm Loving

When I am enjoying a warm mug of herbal tea....to warm up during this very cold winter...I love getting inspired by a little message...just when it makes the most sense! :)

 What We've Been Up To

We celebrated Christmas with our People

 We went Prom Dress Shopping

I got to help present a check from Project Blackout to Boston Children's Hospital- one of the best days ever

We celebrated NYE with the Batsons and Barbaros

and then back home with the girls :)

Miss Sylvie Lynn came over for what was supposed to be a sleepover but it ended early due to her sickness- we had fun while it lasted!

We have enjoyed Eva's Indoor Softball Games with her Club Team

I got to catch up with some besties

and we loved having Zach and Zoe home for awhile- Eva soaked up lots of their time and was spoiled!

Hockey rocks especially when the fam comes out in full force!

We enjoyed surprising Uncle Leo for his 85th!

and the biggest and best news all month...Diana committed to Merrimack College for Elementary Ed and Cheer!

We continue to love on our Big Guy :)

Have enjoyed some special time with my Monkey

Eva had a blast at her Softball Sleepover

and although we couldn't get into the Merrimack Bookstore during our first try, Amazon came through and were able to secretly decorate Diana's room!

After we decorated, we headed out to a fun dinner

and then got home just before Diana and it was a successful surprise!

I have been enjoying more indoor workouts this winter...until I can invest in some hiking boots and ice cleats!

The WHS Basketball Games have been keeping us entertained on Friday Nights again this winter!

and Eva's hockey games have kept us entertained on the weekends

The Fab Four loved the Annual NH Winter Wine Festival

We had a blast at Nickie's Winter Party and enjoyed watching the Patriots win!

and we loved celebrating Mrs. Mullen and getting to reconnect with some special peeps

The Breton girls loved Dancing With The Stars LIVE

and a lovely dinner after at Maggiano's

Then we all changed and headed to the Windham Salem High School Hockey Game-so much fun!

Then we all hunkered down as we were snowed in and got the storm of the year- 2 feet of snow- yikes!

 What I'm Dreading

Nothing at the moment :)

 What I'm Working On

Recruiting for a Benefits role for a client

and I am helping a Buyer find her first home!

We are also starting our Blackout 2026 efforts...can't believe it is already here!

 What I'm Excited About

My Health Journey as well as Aruba for Diana's Senior Trip- nervous but oh so excited to spend some time in the sun and in the ocean during this very cold and snowy winter!

 What I'm Watching/Reading

Stumble- if you need a laugh and want to learn a little about the cheer world, watch it....I howl during every darn episode!

and Tell Me Lies on Hulu- very slow but my hairdresser Taylor told me to give it until the end of the first season and that is what I am doing- hope it gets more exciting

and my January book was Broken Country By Clare Leslie Hall

This was for our February Book Club and I thought it was fabulous!

“The farmer is dead. He is dead, and all anyone wants to know is who killed him.”

Beth and her gentle, kind husband Frank are happily married, but their relationship relies on the past staying buried. But when Beth’s brother-in-law shoots a dog going after their sheep, Beth doesn’t realize that the gunshot will alter the course of their lives. For the dog belonged to none other than Gabriel Wolfe, the man Beth loved as a teenager—the man who broke her heart years ago. Gabriel has returned to the village with his young son Leo, a boy who reminds Beth very much of her own son, who died in a tragic accident.

As Beth is pulled back into Gabriel’s life, tensions around the village rise and dangerous secrets and jealousies from the past resurface, this time with deadly consequences. Beth is forced to make a choice between the woman she once was, and the woman she has become.

and I actually squeezed in a 2nd book for January!

The Surrogate Mother By Frieda McFadden

Another thriller and another winner by one of my favorite authors!

Abby wants a baby more than anything. But after years of failed infertility treatments and adoptions that have fallen through, it seems like motherhood is not in her future. That is, until her personal assistant Monica makes a generous offer that will make all of Abby's dreams come true. But it turns out Monica isn't who she says she is. The woman now carrying Abby's child has an unspeakable secret. And she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

 What I'm Listening To

Diana's Senior Play List with some recent additions of "Back To Friends" by Sombr and "Where Is My Husband!" by Raye

What I'm Wearing

The usual mix of business clothes and workout clothes when I am home or visiting with clients and/or buyers/sellers. Then some fun outfits for nights out and weekends like these...

 What I'm Doing This Weekend

We are going to watch the first 20 minutes of the WHS basketball game then we are walking down the hall to see Eva's show!  She is playing Lucille in Junie B. Jones and we are SO EXCITED...we will be at both shows...Saturday and Sunday night...we are praying the next predicted snowstorm misses us...I am getting mixed reports that it will hit either Saturday night or Sunday night...I hope it doesn't at all...BOO!

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month

Diana's Senior Game (Basketball Season), Diana's Staff Appreciation Game (she is honoring Mr. Bass), More of Eva's Softball and Hockey Games and Diana's Senior Trip to Aruba with some Friends and Mama Friends :)

 What Else Is New?

One of my favorite nights of the year in our town is our School Board Deliberative Session- I always go with my two besties- one of them sits on the board- it is happening next week and we can't wait!

This is what I wrote about that night back in 2019 right here, on this blog:

This is one of my favorite nights all winter and heck all year.  It is the night of our Annual School Deliberative session.  It is when our school board and our school administration discuss the warrant articles that will be on our ballot in March for us to vote on.  It is also a chance for citizens to go and make petitions to possibly change these articles- that is when things have gotten interesting over the years.  Friends, it is truly democracy at its finest.  Most states don't practice this anymore but NH still does...I guess sometimes it pays to be a little behind.  I have been attending these sessions for the last 15  (now 21!) years...nothing fascinates me more.

Favorite Recent Amazon Purchase?

 This present for Diana ;)

 That's a wrap!  What's Up With YOU?
