The End of a School Board Era

9 years- 3 terms- it all ends tonight. I am grateful for the time that Rob Breton has served on the Windham School Board. Sure there are positives and negatives. We got to meet so many wonderful people in town. There were friendships created and some lost due to beliefs and we got to know the teachers and administrators and learned how our school district truly works. Of course we were treated differently over the years- par for the course I guess. The good, though, has definitely outweighed the bad. Such mixed feelings. Thank you "Robby B" for sacrificing it all for our family and our community. You always did what you thought was best for our kids and I will always respect you for that.

Wow! That's amazing! I know there have been some good and bad days. I know he has earned some time off after all that. :)

It's obvious how proud you are of Rob and you should be ;). Serving on a school board for nine years is not for the faint of heart! It is a sacrifice of time and knowing that you're not going to please everyone when you have to make those hard choices that I'm sure he faced during the pandemic and other times as well.

One thing I forgot to mention on Instagram is that it takes a lot out of a partner too when someone volunteers. So thank YOU Holly for your service as well.
