1. Favorite Spring Outfit?

 

 

I would say a pair of colorful pants with a plain top or a pair of jeans with a bright colored top and both with a pair of sandals or flip flops!

 

2. Favorite Spring Fashion Staples?

 

White Jeans- Sandals- Flip Flops- Lilly pieces with lots of color

 

 

3. Favorites Colors to Wear in Spring?

 

Pink- Blue- Pastels and Bold Colors

 

 

4. Do You Change Up Your Handbag for a new Season?

 

 

Yes!  I go lighter and/or brighter!

 

 

5. Favorite Spring Scents?

 

Pleasures by Estee Lauder

 

 6. Favorite Stores/Sites for Spring Items

Lilly- Amazon- Loft- Old Navy

 

7. Do You Thrift?

Nope

 

8. Styles Your Aren't Feeling This Spring?

Ummm...don't thing I dislike anything I have been seeing recently

I think only Easter this year

Monthly Musings: Late Summer Fashion and Fun!

 

Hi Friends!  It's that time!  Time for the Monthly Musings Linkup with Patty and me!

This month we are talking all things Late Summer Fashion and Fun and we are answering these questions...

Soooo...here...we...go....

 

1. Summer travel- where you have been and what trips are still coming up?

 

Unfortunately no travel for us this summer...tight time...we need to go visit colleges too but I am afraid that won't be happening until the spring...stay tuned!  We enjoyed 4th of July weekend at our friends' lake house and a few ladies are going back up there in a few weeks for a concert and overnight :)

 

2. Favorite things you have done so far this summer?

 

4th of July Weekend at the Lake- an overnight in Boston while the kids were at Lana Del Rey and lots of walking and reading and driving around with the top down...all simple but holding onto these days while my girls are at home

 

3. Share Your Go To Outfits This Summer

 

You would laugh but my go-to this summer is athletic leggings, a tank top and sneakers...I throw on a cardigan for business meetings on video and then throw on a suit or dress for in person meetings...that is pretty much it!  Once in awhile, I am getting out and get to throw on a sundress or pants with a tank...pretty basic and boring... AND I stink at taking pics of my outfits...I resolve to get better at this..maybe I should aim for the Fall?

4. Summer Accessories You Are Never Without?

Sunglasses and Flip Flops!

5. Share Your Go To Shoes This Summer

I have been LIVING IN my Nike Vomero 17s- so comfy- so much support- excellent cross trainer AND stylish FTW!

6. Share Anything Spontaneous You Did This Summer- Big or Small

Ummm....nothing?  Gosh I sound so boring...not really myself right now...hope I get my spark and fun back come fall....BUT YET our friends just invited us to go to the Red Sox Yankees Game at Fenway on Sunday night and we said YES...OMG so so excited!  Very spontaneous...unexpected....and getting me fired up...woohoo!

7. Have You Seen Any Summer Movies Yet?

Negative

8. Favorite Summer Sweet Treat?

Blueberry Pie Ice Cream from Pete's Scoop in a nearby town here...delish!

9. Summer Slow Down or Ready For Fall?

Usually I say Summer Slow Down BUT this year I am verrryyy excited about some great things that could happen this fall so can I say both?  HA!!

10. Ready for Back To School?

I really am this year- really am and for good reasons :)

Share our Lives: Favorite Hair and Makeup Products

 

Hi Friends!  I am joining the ladies HERE for Share Our Lives and This Month We Are Talking About Our Favorite Hair and Makeup Products- so fun!  Here we go

 

 

Hair

 

 

 I alternate between two lines of hair products each week to keep my hair healthy

 

First is Goldwell Bond Pro which builds up broken hair and adds protein

 

I use the Shampoo, Conditioner, Repair and Structure Spray and the Night Bond Booster

and on the off weeks, I use Pureology Hydrating Shampoo, Conditioner and the Taming Serum

My hair has never been healthier in my life and sure the products are great but I credit Taylor my Hair Stylist- she is just unreal- I send more friends to her every month.  She just knows hair- has a passion for it and will never steer you wrong!

 

Ok on to....

 

 

Makeup

 

 

Here is the current regiment....

 

 

Estee Lauder Cleanser and Moisturizer

 

 and Eye Cream

 

I alternate between Clinique Even Better and Estee Lauder Foundation

and I have been using Estee Lauder Bronzing Powder too

I have been enjoying this cream blush stick from Nars

For eye shadow, I am always partial to Bobbi Brown

I am still using my Urban Decay Eye Crayon in "Delinquent" - best name ever!  Ha!

and Estee Lauder Turbo Mascara

and for the lips, I am loving Yves St. Laurent Lipstick in St. Germain

and Tarte Lip Paint in Pillow Talk

Monthly Musings: March 2024- All About Spring Fashion

1. What Is Your Go-To Spring Outfit?

Anything with Lilly!

2. Favorite Spring Fashion Pieces?

Colorful Palazzo Pants- Again More Lilly- Bright Colors and even a nice Black and White Outfit

3. Do You Change Up Your Handbag for Spring?

Yes, I will bring out my bright crossbodys and also use my straw cross body and my LV Neverfull in Damien Azur

4. When Do You Bring Out Your Opened Toe Shoes?

 

 Usually around St. Patty's Day...we have made a tradition to wear open toe shoes at our FF St Patty's Dinner

 

 

5. Favorite Spring Scents?

 

 Pleasures by Estee Lauder for sure-when I smell it, it means that spring is here!

 

 

6. White After Easter?  After Memorial Day?  Heck Anytime I Want!

 It depends...if we are talking shoes then Memorial Day..white jeans?  Usually in April/May...sometimes I use the rule "anytime I want" if I really want to wear something and I feel the weather is cooperating :)

 

 

7. Favorite Ways To Add Spring To Your Wardrobe When The Weather Is Not Cooperating? 

Layers that you can easily remove and bringing back all of the bright colors- yeah!

8. Do You Change Up Your Makeup Routine for Spring?

 

Nope

9. How Do You Transition Your Wardrobe for Spring?

 

Bringing back the open toe shoes, bright colors and all the Lilly!  

10. Favorite Spring Accessories/Jewelry?

 

I really don't change up my jewelry for the seasons- I wear my DY Cross along with my Lola Pendants around my neck.  I have a Lola Bracelet with a Pendant as well as a DY Cross Bracelet and my Apple Watch on the other wrist.  I do change up my bands and bring out brighter color ones for the spring and summer.  For accessories, I love my LV Damien Azur Neverfull and my sunglasses- either Blenders or Raybans.
