Hi Friends and Happy Wednesday! Although I am away, I couldn't miss my favorite linkup of the month! Here is what's been up with us...
What We're Eating This Week
Mama is out of the kitchen so Daddy is holding down the fort for Pidge. He is planning simple meals that are some of Eva's faves- pasta- grilled cheese- chicken tenders- broccoli and fries...Diana and I are eating in Aruba
What I'm Reminiscing About
Past trips to Aruba
What I'm Loving
Rose Gold
I am having a moment with the color "rose gold" and all of the variations- always loved it but it is appearing everywhere right now and I am digging it :)
What We've Been Up To
Lots of basketball games!
We LOVED seeing Eva shine as Lucille in Junie B Jones
The School Deliberative was successful and the tradition continues!
There has been lots of hockey!
A special night out for Eva with her Godmother Alice and "Godsister" Amber :)
Book Club #41 was a great night at Laura's- we read Broken Country
More Basketball!
A Fun Date Night
Some Olympics Coverage
More Hockey...
with our special guests Janie and Lou!
A disappointing Superbowl but proud of our Patriots!
and all of the Galentine Get Togethers :)
There were prom dress alterations...
and time spent on the rail trail!
More Olympics Watching
and we had a blast at Accepted Students Day at Merrimack!
There has been more hockey of course...
and a cozy Valentine weekend at home :)
Eva has been enjoying Indoor Softball this winter
and Diana honored Mr. Bass at Teacher Appreciation Night for the Winter 26 Season!
Senior Night was so Bittersweet!
What I'm Dreading
What I'm Working On
Well this week NOTHING...working on relaxing and decompressing after some challenging professional years...not sure how much sleep I will get this week but snoozing on the beach will be a great way to catch up for sure :)
What I'm Excited About
Though time is passing quickly...looking forward to more of Diana's fun senior year traditions! There have been so many wonderful moments this year already!
What I'm Watching/Reading
Stumble on NBC- I crack up every darn week
Still holding on hope with Tell Me Lies but I find it so boring
and my book for February was
Stronger Than You Think by Dr. Mike Stare ( a family friend)
Great advice for women my age- great resource- will be referring back to this weekly! Already incorporated his weekly strength training suggestions and the supplements he suggested. I was never good at taking vitamins but I am so motivated now!
What I'm Listening To
Diana's Senior Playlist, Lots of Taylor Swift, Lots of Sabrina Carpenter and some "new to me" sentimental songs that are being added to Diana's Graduation Video- "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus and "Beautiful Things" by Megan Moroney
What I'm Wearing
Have I mentioned my ice cleats? ;)
Layers this frigid winter for sure
and as many bright colors in February to capture the Valentine spirit...always a little Lily mixed in too of course ;)
a little Jag Wear
and workout clothes of course!
What I'm Doing This Weekend
Working through re-entry...don't even want to think about that yet
What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month
Diana's Merrimack Cheer Signing at WHS, Celebrating My Mom's and My Father In Law's Birthdays, our traditional St. Paddy's Dinner with the Fab Four and starting our work on Blackout 2026!
What Else Is New
I think I have covered it all!
Favorite Recent Amazon Purchase?
You guessed it! The ice cleats!
