Hello Monday and Hello Mother's Day Weekend!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  I am here with Sarah and we are so glad you stopped by!  If you chatted about your weekend, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below.  C'mon...it'll be fun!

Here is what our little weekend looked like...

Friday Night

It was time for Eva's very first school dance!  She had some besties over beforehand to "get ready together" and enjoy some snacks and fun...the Mamas came and joined me and helped with the finishing touches and we enjoyed watching the girls get crazy as we tried to snap a few pics :)

I crimped her hair

and Diana did her makeup :)

5 girls squished into the bathroom...fighting over the mirror...gotta love girls!

 and all ready for pics!

 Getting Silly

and what get together wouldn't be complete without a Wicked singalong...right?  We love Olivia and how talented is she?!

After this, they all piled in the Jeep and Rob brought them to the dance...he said that one of them said "you guys...in about 30 seconds, we are going to be at our first school dance!" Aww...all nostalgic right?  Well they then proceeded to scream and Rob lost his hearing for about an hour...ha ha!!!  Again...gotta love girls!  They had a great time.  We did too with some of the parents who came over...it was a great Friday night for all...even Diana....who was on a date ;)

 Saturday

We had a slow morning which was nice then Eva, Rob and Papa took off for Connecticut for the weekend for a  hockey tournament.  All the guys on her team decided to wear suits so she proclaimed, "I have to wear a tutu!" And so she did my friends!

She actually wore it on the ice too!

Per Cass's suggestion, I enjoyed the movie "Nonnas" on Netflix...I laughed... I cried and thought about how grateful I am that I have had grandmothers and a mother to teach me the art of cooking and especially Italian cooking...watch it if you get the chance...it is such a feel good movie AND based on a true story!

Then I ran out to do some errands.

Eva enjoyed bonding with her new team

and scored her first goal with them this weekend too!

Later on, I headed up north for a real estate appointment....my first time buyer is looking at some starter homes and we saw an adorable one up in the lakes region...it was actually a relaxing ride for me there and back

Diana headed into Boston with her besties..they are so cute

and then they all slept over our house....I couldn't fall asleep for a long time but it was all good

Sunday

Happy Mother's Day!

I headed to my parents and my brother and I enjoyed breakfast with my Mom and Dad of course...we had some of our faves...My mom couldn't help herself and made her cheese souffle...we also enjoyed almond croissants...the berries I brought and chicken salad.  Of course, we enjoyed laughs and I caught them up on the college visits and all our updates

Then I headed home and my girls surprised me with a visit...and presents...and Baby Sylvie of course!  We had a great time chatting about Diana's love life and reminiscing about Kayla and Ally's high school loves...it was great to reminisce AND learn things I never knew before- ha!

I got to chat with Zach too....never forgets to call! :)  I also loved my IG posts from him and Diana!

Then later on, I picked up Cass and we headed up to the beach!  We were so excited to have some free time to do something together on Mother's Day AND do something we LOVE to do!

We enjoyed lobstah rolls at a little pub on the marshes first

and then a glass of wine...wrapped up in our blankets on the beach...a little chilly but so beautiful and relaxing!

After a little while, we headed home and I got to catch up with Diana when she got home from work...then I crashed hard and early!  It was a wonderful weekend!  What were YOU up to?

What a perfect weekend! I'm glad to hear that Diana was on a date; it's not always easy getting back out there. Eva looked beautiful for her dance, and I love that her personality shines through in whatever she does, like wearing the tutu on ice. I hope you have a great Monday, my sweet friend!

That sounds like such a great weekend! I would love for someone to make me a cheese souffle : ) I'm going to look for the Nonna's flick. Love that the girls all wore tennis shoes to the dance. They look so cute! And I love the tutu as well. She is her own person and that's a wonderful quality.I haven't gotten to my weekend catch up but hopefully later today. Happy Monday!
