What I'm Reminiscing About
With all of the college planning and high school events for Diana, I have been reminiscing quite a bit about Zach's high school years. I remember Rob and I saying we enjoyed his high school experience so much BUT his four years at WHS went by faster than our high school and college years-it was crazy! Still brings back so many great memories...

Junior Prom- and they were named Prince and Princess :)
Senior Day at Football
Graduation
Beautiful Days they were...

We all played fan club for the end of cheer season...at Prelims...then States...then New Englands...what a blast...so proud of Diana!

The Fab Four celebrated with their Annual St Patty's Dinner
We voted in our town election
We celebrated the end of an era with our Gold Hockey Team...Eva is moving on next year...we will miss this family for sure
We are still loving the Rail Trail!

Can't wait to take her to have her hair and nails done and host her flower party when the girls make their bouquets in their silk pj's and I can't wait to see her all decked out with her date, a friend, who she grew up with...so glad they ended up together for prom...wishing she has a magical time!

LOVED it...truly love everything she is in...she always makes me laugh SO HARD
and my book for March was "The Summer Pact" by Emily Giffin
Four freshmen arrive at college from completely different worlds:
Lainey, a California party girl with a flair for drama; Tyson, a
brilliant scholar and aspiring lawyer from Washington, D.C.; Summer, an
ambitious, recruited athlete from the Midwest; and Hannah, a
mild-mannered southerner who is content to quietly round out the circle
of big personalities. Soon after arriving on campus, they strike up a
conversation in their shared dorm, and the seeds of friendship are
planted.
As their college years fly by, their bond intensifies
and the four become inseparable. But as graduation nears, their lives
are forever changed after a desperate act leads to tragic consequences.
Stunned and heartbroken, they make a pact, promising to always be there
for one another, no matter how separated they may become by
circumstances or distance.
Ten years later, Hannah is
anticipating what should be one of the happiest moments of her life when
everything is suddenly turned upside down. Calling on her closest
friends, it soon becomes clear that they are all facing their own
crossroads. True to their promise, they agree to take a time out from
lives headed in wrong directions and embark on a shared journey of
self-discovery, forgiveness, and acceptance.
In this tender
portrayal of grief, love, and hope, Emily Giffin asks: When things fall
apart, who will be at our sides, helping us pick up the pieces?
I LOVED IT!! It is not what I had expected at all- thought it would be a light and fluffy read but it was deep and addressed such topics as suicide and sexuality. Good stuff
What I'm Listening To
The Ladies of Pop right now- Sabrina Carpenter- Chapel Roan- Gracie Abrams- Ellie Goulding
What I'm Wearing
Lots of workout clothes....business attire...and some cute outfits for nights out like...
and then when I am in my "Cheer Mom Mode", I will dress the part ;)
What I'm Doing This Weekend
Rob and Eva have the Annual Daddy Daughter Dance so I will be hanging out with some Mamas while they are off cutting up a rug
and then the rest of the weekend will be spent chilling and doing some prom prep...some real estate work...nothing crazy...looking forward to it!
What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month
You mean besides the prom? ;) Easter and all of our family traditions and April Break when we are visiting a few colleges for Diana down south- eek!
What Else Is New?
Patty and I are hosting Monthly Musings tomorrow and we hope you will join us! We are talking all things Spring Fashion and have some fun questions to answer....see them below!

I am just finishing up The Summer Pact too and it's not at all what I expected. Love all the traditions surrounding prom. Sam has a formal dance coming up but it's just not the same anticipation!!!
I am going to look for that show From Scratch. Congrats on selling a house and getting taxes done! Looks like a great month!
So much good stuff!! I love all of the family pictures including the throwback ones. You guys have been so busy with all the GOOD THINGS! Congrats on your house sale- that is truly something worth celebrating- from everything it took to get to the point where you could sell it to actually selling it. Diana will get that full, I'm sure :) Prom pretty sounds so fun! And, Bosses was really funny- I will check out some of the shows you recommended. Have a great day!
What a fun busy month you've had! Congratulations on the sale...that's great! I haven't heard of the Karen Read story but am going to look for it now. We just watched Devil In The House: The Fall of Ruby Franke and it was really good. I wasn't familiar with that story either but my daughter used to follow her sister on Instagram so she knew a bit about it. There was another movie made about the case which the family said was inaccurate, but the Hulu show is actual family footage and family members interviewed. Have a great day!
Such a fun month of good for your family! I was surprised about The Summer Pact too; it was not at all what I expected but I did like it. It's amazing how fast those high school and college years go when they aren't yours, isn't it?
