What I'm Loving

With all of the uncertainty out there...the crazy stock market...the slowdowns...that I am still busy working on a ton of awesome HR jobs....grateful and don't take it for granted!

What We've Been Up To

We went back to school!

Mama celebrated her birthday Labor Day Weekend with Friends and Fam

We visited My Mom "Mimi" after her Knee Surgery- she is making great strides with her recovery!

Then I had a setback and had to have an additional surgery- wasn't my plan of course and it was very scary...I have been slowly recovering...not taking life for granted for sure!

The girls auditioned for The Nutcracker and it has become a BIG Nutcracker Season for sure....

Eva was cast a Solider and Reindeer

and Diana was cast as......

Clara :)

Eva ran for 3rd Grade Student Council and Won!

Fall Activities Have Started Again Too- Dance, Hockey and Softball for Eva and Dance and Voice for Diana!

Family Faith has started back up to...big year for Eva as she will be receiving Holy Communion This Spring!

We Decorated for Fall!

We enjoyed the first Nutcracker Cast Meeting and the Announcement of Roles

We completed a successful Windham Blackout Cancer Week- 12th Year Running

Mama and Cass Bought Some Serious Wine Last Weekend ;)

Snuggles with Remi have continued and never get old!

and the first weekend of Nutcracker Rehearsals was a success!

What I'm Dreading

Nothing right now...just trying to stay positive and focused and continue healing but I do have PTSD and I am afraid every day at some point of having another post-surgery issue so just trying to get through this time

What I'm Working On

Family-Work-Health and a Nutcracker Documentary!

What I'm Excited About

A Little Hocus Pocus Get Together with Some of Eva's Friends and Their Moms This Weekend

and all of the Nutcracker Prep of course :)

What I'm Watching/Reading

So I binged the 1st Season of "Abbott Elementary" and LOVED IT...now I am watching it like everyone else every week...always love shows/movies about schools and getting a big kick out of this one!

and Rob and I have been binging "Last Man Standing"...we LOVE it and we are up to Season 6

and I continued with the Spellmans series by Lisa Lutz as I am loving these light and funny reads about a family in the PI Business...so my Two Books for September were....

Spellmans Strike Again

and

Trail Of The Spellmans

What I'm Listening To

Does this shock you?  Ha!

What I'm Wearing

Mostly Comfy Workout Clothes as I recover but I did dress up a few weeks ago for Laurel's Bday Dinner and felt HUMAN...

and last Friday, I donned my Blackout Tee Shirt Of Course :) (This year we had neon STAFF shirts made so we could find each other once it turned dark...truth be told I got to sit most of the night in the honors tent but so happy was able to be there)

My Bestie Taking Care Of Me :)

What I'm Doing This Weekend

Resting...Observing and Filming Parts of Nutcracker Rehearsals and enjoying a night of Hocus Pocus with some of my favorite girls and Mamas

I’m glad you’re still taking it easy and recovering! You’re still having tons of fun though! I need to make that pumpkin cheese ball this year. I’m glad your mom is feeling better.
