Hi Friends and Happy Monday!
I was planning a fun post on Friday but I had a set back in my recovery...a very scary one....I started bleeding uncontrollably on Thursday....Rob took me to my doctor and then they took me by ambulance to the hospital....my doctor doesn't know why this happened....she couldn't see that I "popped a stitch or two" and I also told her about my outings and walking/activity and she doesn't think I overdid it but it is still a mystery.
By Thursday night, I was in surgery again and had some additional stitches put in...that is, after several hours and several tests including a CT Scan to make sure there was no bleeding in my belly
She further stitched me up and it seemed to do the trick...it was worse than my surgery in that I was more uncomfortable and had to stay overnight at the hospital for monitoring since I had lost so much blood...I am home resting...I am taking it slow...and I am doing everything in my power to heal...
My weekend consisted of resting on Friday and Saturday and then getting the girls ready for Nutcracker Auditions yesterday...a very exciting day for our family...more on that this week!
For now, I will leave you with a few favorites I was going to share with you on Friday...kinda faves and a Life Lately all mixed into one.....

Holly! That is horrifying that you went through that. I am so sorry you had to have another surgery....and that's it's all a mystery. I pray that you recover fully and normally and that they can figure out what happened to give you that reaction. Prayers for strength and healing for you, friend. I cannot imagine how scary that was for you!
Take it easy, my friend!
