Friday Night
I hosted Cass for our Annual Risotto Night! It is one of our favorite nights all year....good food...good wine and awesome catch up...we talked until almost 11:30- eek! It was worth it...

While we were chatting, I also set Diana's hair for Nutcracker rehearsal....we had to practice our party girls for another year....yeah!
Saturday
We started our day with my favorite thing as of late...our Saturday morning "date" walk....though it was a little chilly...it was finally sunny after two days of rain and the foliage was beautiful!
After that, it was a whole lot of Nutcracker craziness...
I am helping out with PR this year in hopes of building a larger audience for the feature film....I scored an interview and photo session with Windham Magazine which was thrilling...now we are just hoping for the cover! Fingers crossed :)
On Saturday, the photographer came to shoot some behind the scenes magic and I got to sneak a few pics with my phone too....though he captured many shots, he is trying to feature the dancers from Windham...lucky us...our Snow Queen this year is from Windham...yeah!

That night, our friends the McLains came for dinner and it was a perfect fall cozy night of catching up...
Sunday
We slept in and chilled all morning...then when it was time to get the girls to Nutcracker rehearsals...we started to hustle again...then Rob and I got to go mattress and bed shopping...someone was VERY excited...he kills me!
We picked the Diva bed...well I did...he is just going along with it...love the sparkle...

We desperately need a new mattress and I want a whole new bedding set. Love seeing those leaves and the cutest lil dancers!
What a wonderful weekend!!!! The Nutcracker pics are awesome! Looks like your daughter was loving it!!!! And you are such a great host; love your charcuterie board! And the new bed is gorgeous!!
We just got a new mattress too and it makes all the difference..so much better sleep. Those Nutcracker pictures are BEAUTIFUL!
Love seeing all of your fall colors. The ballet photos are great and I know you will do a Good job on PR for them.

We just got a new mattress last year and love it! The Nutcracker photos turned out great-- here's hoping you get the cover. That risotto looks fabulous. I have actually never made risotto but I would like to try my hand at it. Chef Ramsey always makes it seem rather intimidating to get right on Hell's Kitchen.

I love seeing all your Nutcracker photos. Our studio does it every other year and this was going to be Rachel's first year to be in it. I'm sad she doesn't get to experience that this year. They're doing something else but it's just not the same...
