Allie is hosting a fun linkup!
This week we are talking about all things in our makeup drawer.
I am excited to share and also see what your go-to makeup products are!
Linking up with Allie HERE
Skincare
I really love Bio Elements products. I tried them at a spa years and years ago and just stuck with them. I now buy them on Amazon. They are all natural and my sensitive skin loves everything about them!
The Exfoliator called "Measured Micrograins"
The Cleanser
and the moisturizer called "Crucial Moisture"
*Disclaimer: I alternate this moisturizer with another more heavy moisturizer that I fell in love with thanks to one of my besties and her recommendation.
It is by Peter Thomas Roth and it is called Camu Camu Power C- it is choc full of Vitamin C and when I put it on, I feel my skin actually getting happy ;)
It is much pricier than Bioelements but I make it last by alternating the two moisturizers!
Foundation
Lately I have been on a Clinique foundation kick. I like their "Even Better" line as it is pretty light.
I am on the hunt now for a foundation that is heavier for evenings out...a more dramatic look. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate them!
Bronzer/Powder
I don't use this every day but for a little extra color and sparkle....I throw some of this on. Bobbi Brown, as you will see in this post, is one of my faves for all things makeup...I love her Shimmer Brick for a bronzing powder!
Blush
I don't always wear blush either but when I do, I tend to go to Bobbi Brown, MAC or Lancome.
One of my faves is MAC blush in Full Fuscia
Eye Shadow
Ok friends, this one I am very passionate about. I searched for years for the perfect dark brown eye shadow. I love putting dark brown on my lids and creases and no brown was dark enough for me. The ones I tried ended up looking like gray or black and it was frustrating...until...I found the perfect color for me at Bobbi Brown....yes!
I had to buy a pallet of shadows to get it but I didn't mind because I loved another color in the pallet for a highlighter under my brows.
Eyeliner
This one is tricky. I fell in the love with this "Eye Crayon" a few years ago. I kept buying it at Sephora, until, yes friends, they discontinued it. Don't you hate that? I can deal with a lipstick color being discontinued but because this color is so unique and I think perfect for my skin tone, I was angry. SO what did I do? I hopped on Ebay and sure enough I was able to find it. I now continue buying this in bulk on Ebay.....just hope that when Ebay is finally out that they come up with a similar color.
It is a fat eye glide-on crayon made by Urban Decay
and my color is called "Delinquent"- hysterical!
This one...I am passionate about.
Mascara
This one I am not fussy about. I have been using a MAC one recently and it does the job. Interested to see what other suggestions are out there!
and the Lips!!!
Woohoo!
Aren't lips always the most fun- so many colors to choose from!
If you have been reading for awhile, you know I can't live with out one particular lipstick though.
It is from Bobbi Brown (yes, again)
and it is purely called "Beige"
I love the matte finish and I love the way it looks with my skin tone...I wear it every...single...day!
and when I am looking for something more gold, I usually opt for bold reds and pinks from Estee Lauder.
For lip gloss, I go right back to Bobbi Brown for her shimmer glosses. I tend to use those over more bold colors. I love an extra sparkle :)
So....I am also passionate about perfume but I feel like that would take another entire post and it really is not "makeup" per say so...I will leave you with this...can't wait to read your posts and get some more inspiration!

I love that Bobbi Brown lip gloss!! I have one of those pinks! I might need to try the beige lipstick. And I hate it when they discontinue an awesome product!! I am afraid to get too attached to any product for that reason! Thanks so much for joining our linkup!!
Holly, Loved seeing what's in your "drawer". Lots of fun things. Have a great day!
I love Bobbi! I don't love her on a teacher salary though. I always bought her stuff in high school and college, and I still have some of her brushes. She definitely makes quality products. I've heard great reviews of Peter Roth products, too! Thanks for sharing and linking up today!
