Dear Diana at 30 Weeks!

Dear Diana,

Can you believe it is already two months/8 weeks since I wrote you your first letter? Time flies when you are having fun!

You have been moving so much and kicking up a storm! Even though the doctors told me that my placenta attached to the front of my uterus and I probably won't feel as much as the "normal mom", I can still feel you. Sometimes it feels like you are kicking and others times it feels like you are trying to give me a high five with your little hand....I also think I am feeling your hiccups and I always wonder..."Did she not like that cereal I just ate? Did I just drink too much water?" Nevertheless, I LOVE feeling you! Daddy got to feel a few of your kicks too! Usually he gets to feel you when we are trying to fall asleep at night...I think you are just trying to find your comfortable position....it is so much fun, though, to feel your movements!

I will miss that once you are here BUT I can't wait for you to get here!!!! I know I will miss sleeping but I cannot wait to hold my daughter in my arms and know that everything is going to be okay.

Daddy and Papa Bob already assembled your crib and changing table so we are getting closer on having your room completely done!

Unfortunately Aunt Syl passed away last month so you will not get to meet her here...who knows, though, maybe you have already met her in heaven...she would have LOVED you. She was already planning too and made you two blankets! Grammy already gave me one and it is hanging on your crib...just waiting for you. So you will always have a piece of Aunt Syl with you :)

You are moving right now as I type...I know you are reminding me that you are there....like I could forget!

It is 100 degrees today in New England...I have been okay though...wanna know why? I spend my days in an office that blasts the AC and I come home and make sure that we blast the new ACs at home too!! :) I hope you are comfortable...oh I can't wait to meet you my little baby girl!!!

Love, Mommy

The Hallidays!

So....Ann-Marie and Ish brought Baby Lucy over so we could enjoy her and I have to tell you...she is just BEAUTIFUL...she has the longest eyelashes EVER!!!!

She has come such a long way...she was born at 7mnths and only weighed 2.2 pounds...she is now 6 months and close to 11.5 lbs and thriving!

I have posted a few pix so you could enjoy this little munchkin....I know we did!!

We enjoyed a nice dinner too...I whipped up my specialty eggplant parmesian....got a Sal's pizza and made a mixed green salad. I also tried a new dessert recipe....Jello Pudding Pie with hot fudge sauce...everyone seemed to enjoy :)

Sex in the City

Yes...it is even better than they are saying....no surprise. What did surprise me, however, is that I cried more than I laughed.

One specific event in the movie brought back all of the pain I ever felt with an ex...excrutiating pain that you wouldn't wish on anyone? Yep that's it and you know what is funny about that? For some reason, I can't wait to see the movie again...I am thinking..when can I squeeze it in? I want to see if soooo bad!!!

Ladies...if nothing else, you will LOVE the outfits and of course the shoes....just another excuse to get together for cosmos (please have one for me) and have a fun ladies night out :)

Yummy YAMA :)

Ally and I had a special night on Saturday...yeah a little behind with my posting. She is my Love Bug and we haven't spent much time together lately...so we decided to grab some Japanese and then head to our favorite bookstore.

We tried YAMA in Andover for the first time and it was terrific. Of course, it lead me to long for sushi again but there were plenty of cooked options for me and I endulged!

We started with firecracker salmon rolls which were like a cooked spring roll with salmon instead of shrimp in them. They also had various greens which we were trying to guess but somehow left with that still being a mystery. The other appetizer we tried was a softshell crab tempura and that was really good! Then of course, we ordered our standard fave- steamed shumai- delish!

Then Ally ate and enjoyed sushi for the both of us....she got a honkin' dragon roll and an alaskan roll and she was quite pleased. I got an order of the Japanese Saba Noodles...my first time trying them and they were great!!!

Of course we had to wrap up the dinner with our fave dessert...fried ice cream...you know I am enjoying this while it lasts..11 more weeks of food fun until the diet kicks in!!!

After dinner, we headed over to Barnes and Noble in Salem and I got my latest Emily Griffin book "Baby Proof", Ally grabbed a Seventeen Magazine and we enjoyed fancy coffee drinks while we chatted and giggled about the boy working behind the counter who was eating a piece of pizza for hours! We eventually got to our reading materials later at home :)

Very fun girly night...check out Yama!

Anyway...we had some fun...Rob took the pix of me alone and then Ally and Zack got behind the lense and shot some pix of mummy and daddy :)

Amy & Chris's Bridal Shower

Yes....another typical Italian celebration...tons of terrific food...a beautiful venue and presents galore!! It was a fantastic celebration and Amy looked beautiful!!!

What was really funny was that My Auntie Peggy and Amy's Mom told her that yesterday was actually my baby shower. My Auntie actually had my mom send her a fake invitation. Amy is hysterical because she wouldn't leave it alone and kept asking a million questions and trying to nail someone down! The Ceder Crest, where the shower was, actually even had on the function sign "Holly's Baby Shower"..boy we had a laugh!

Chris and Amy got some really fun gifts and everyone had a great time!

I am posting as many pictures as this blog will allow!! :)

Wedding Wedding Wedding!!!! (I am praying I can make it...it is two days after my due date!!)
