Hello Monday (May 11, 2026)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  I am here with my pal Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends!  Hope you will join us....we are coming off a crazy busy spring weekend here...we don't expect things to slow down, at this point, until July...so buckle up...ride the wave with me if you would...here is what our weekend looked like...

Friday Night

It was time for our Annual Real Estate Appreciation Night and it was just fabulous.  Cass came with me and Tina and Misty met us there.  We had a blast and it was great to catch up with so many old friends!  I love the way Laura puts this event together with a Cinco de Mayo theme- so so fun!

Catching up with Mrs. Mullen was a fave

Team Gamache

When I got home, Rob was getting home from his gig and he helped me set up some things for Diana's friends who were coming over to "chill" and hang by the firepit- love the way these kids have come together this year- boys and girls- I know Diana is grateful as are we and we will never forget these happy days for her.

Snapped a pic of Rob dousing the fire late night- called him Fire Marshall Bill- ha!

Meanwhile Pidge was at a birthday dinner and sleepover for her bestie!

 Saturday

We were up bright and early.  Rob, Eva and Papa headed up north for another softball tournament.  I headed down to Mass, picked up my mom and we headed to my Cousin Julia's Bridal Shower- it was so so lovely- loved the garden theme and had a great time catching up with relatives on my dad's side.

After that, I dropped off my mom and headed home to chill which felt luxurious.  Later on, Diana headed to work and Rob, Eva and I made subs for dinner and watched one of my favorite movies of all time, "Back To The Future." We wanted to introduce Eva to this classic- we just wish she liked it more- sigh

We crashed early!

Sunday

Happy Mother's Day!  Hope you had a great one if you celebrated!

It was such a great night of sleep for me!  I was giddy.  I haven't been sleeping well at all but that night I did- I slept over 10 hours!  So grateful!

I got up and headed to mass and Rob, Eva and Papa headed back up to softball.  After mass, I grabbed a tea and waited for my parents to arrive. Then I drove them up north so we could catch one of Eva's games- they did so well!

We left after the first game to enjoy lunch at the 99.  Then I dropped my parents back at my house and did a few things to get organized.

Later on, Rob came to pick me up so I could join them at the championship game!

Though the girls were runners up, they had a heck of a weekend- the championship game was their only loss!

It was a very full spring weekend!  What were you all up to?

It looks like a really nice weekend! The bridal shower looked so nice- love those opportunities to catch up with family whom you don't necessarily see on a regular basis. I'm glad that softball went so well as did Diana's time hanging out with her friends at your house. Have a great Monday!

Thinking about being busy until July makes me tired! Back to the Future is a great, classic movie and still fun that she has seen it now. Glad you got some rest and hope it is a great day for you!

The flowers at the shower are gorgeous! Sounds like you had a busy but fun May weekend and a full night's sleep is such a gift. I still love Back To The Future so glad you're doing your part to educate the next generation : ) I love your skirt at the real estate event. Glad you had a happy Mother's Day. Enjoy this fun busy season!

I'm so glad you had a great weekend! It was full, indeed. It's terrible not being able to sleep for nights on end, so I'm sure that ten hours felt amazing. I hope you have a great day, my friend, and that your week gets off to a great start!

The young kids don''t "get" our movies, sadly!
Your skirt and dress - the pinks and oranges - swoon! I love your outfits you wore! Sounds like a very full weekend and glad you got to chill at the end of it!

Congrats to Eva and her teram for a good softball season! Summer vacation looms in the horizon and all the fun that comes along with it. Watch Remarkably Bright Creatures on Netflix when you get a chance--so good!

Happy Mother's Day!! I love your dress for the bridal shower! You looked so bright and pretty! I'm glad Diana has found her group. It's always great having good friends! I haven't been sleeping well lately either. I think mine is due to brain not cutting off and getting older. #sigh. Ha! I am glad you were able to get some much needed rest!
