What I'm Dreading

The change in our family dynamic- I am enjoying every moment and so excited for Diana but my heart still aches

 What I'm Working On

Managing The Household- Recruiting- Real Estate- Blackout- Diana's Grad Party

I was invited to an event by the owner of a local, prestigious staffing firm.  I have followed her for years.  She actually just invited me to her upcoming event and I am really looking forward to attending.  This woman truly inspires me as she built her own staffing firm and has survived through a few recessions.  She recently lost her son and her strength just amazes me.  I will soak up every last word she has to say that evening for sure.

 What I'm Excited About

All of the Senior Year Celebrations Coming up For Diana

 What I'm Watching/Reading

Watching a Cute Little Series "Suburgatory" on Netflix

Not much time for TV right now

and I snuck in two books this month both by Abby Jimenez and the first two books of her three part series.

The First One is Called

"Part Of Your World"

After a wild bet, gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich, and cuddle with a baby goat,

Alexis Montgomery has had her world turned upside down. The cause: Daniel

Grant, a ridiculously hot carpenter who’s ten years younger than her and as

casual as they come—the complete opposite of sophisticated city-girl Alexis. And

yet their chemistry is undeniable. While her ultra-wealthy parents want her to

carry on the family legacy of world-renowned surgeons,

Alexis doesn’t need glory or fame. She’s fine with being a “mere” ER doctor. And

every minute she spends with Daniel and the tight-knit town where he lives, she’s

discovering just what’s really important. Yet letting their relationship become

anything more than a short-term fling would mean turning her back on her family

and giving up the opportunity to help thousands of people. Bringing Daniel into

her world is impossible, and yet she can’t just give up the joy she’s found with

him either. With so many differences between them, how can Alexis possibly

choose between her world and his?

It was fabulous so I dove right into the 2nd book and

loved it even more!

  "Yours Truly"

Dr. Briana Ortiz’s life is seriously flatlining. Her divorce is just about finalized, her brother’s running out of time to find a kidney donor, and that promotion she wants? Oh, that’s probably going to the new man-doctor who’s already registering eighty-friggin’-seven on Briana’s “pain in my ass” scale. But just when all systems are set to hate, Dr. Jacob Maddox completely flips the game ... by sending Briana a letter.

And it’s a really good letter. Like the kind that proves that Jacob isn’t actually Satan. Worse, he might be this fantastically funny and subversively likeable guy who’s terrible at first impressions. Because suddenly he and Bri are exchanging letters, sharing lunch dates in her “sob closet,” and discussing the merits of freakishly tiny horses. But when Jacob decides to give Briana the best gift imaginable—a kidney for her brother—she wonders just how she can resist this quietly sexy new doctor ... especially when he calls in a favor she can’t refuse.

 Even better than the first!

Next month, I will dive into the 3rd book "Just For The Summer"

What I'm Listening To

Diana's Senior Year Playlist which includes some recent additions of: "Daylight" by Taylor Swift, "The Great Divide" by Noah Kahan, "Prom" by Sza, "One More Time" by Luke Rob, "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac and "I Just Might" by Bruno Mars- in the feels for sure

 What I'm Wearing

Business Attire

Workout Clothes

and Fun Outfits For Nights Out and Weekends

 What I'm Doing This Weekend

TBD!

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month

The Start of the Senior Activities and Nantucket Weekend with Besties!

 What Else Is New?

I think I covered it all!

Favorite Recent Amazon Purchase?

A Volleyball Net and Set.  We remembered that we set one up in the yard when Zach was a senior so we decided to do that for Diana's senior year too and encourage kids to come and play.  So far it has only been Eva and her friends and me playing with the girls but if you build it they will come right?  Ha !!

 That's a wrap!
