Hi Friends and Happy Monday Tuesday! Hope you had a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend! I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our long weekends. If you blogged about yours, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below!
I am backing up to Wednesday night...just to document our life...Here is what our Memorial Day Weekend looked like...
Wednesday Night
The ladies took out our besties to celebrate their May birthdays- Denise, Beth Ann and Cass! We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Dreo :)
Thursday Night
Uncle Matt made us Spanish Rice and brought it up for dinner- I threw together a salad and we had a great time catching up! I had to leave for a bit to take Diana to her cheer private- she is getting really close to landing her full!
Friday Night
Had to get the holiday weekend started off with one of my festive flower arrangements :)
Rob and Eva headed to her first softball game for the tournament weekend...with Cora of course...got a cute selfie from the car
I headed out with Cass- we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the bar at Capital Grille-we split the oysters, caprese salad and lobster mac and cheese- all delish and such a fun and busy atmosphere!
Diana was hanging with her girls
Saturday
We were up bright and early for softball! Eva played two games- 8am and 9:30am- though it was rainy, it was enjoyable under a tent- snapped a few great pics in between games
Then it was time to relax for a bit at home- Rob took Eva to watch some other teams play.
That night, Diana headed out with friends. Eva hung with Papa and Rob and I met out with Lea and Mike- we had a blast having cocktails and dinner over at Tavern In The Square- it had been way too long...we had so much to catch up on...good for the soul
Sunday
We were up again at the crack of dawn for more softball...another 8am game and this time Mimi and Uncle Matt joined us - Papa Pete was golfing....we enjoyed the first game and when the girls won...they played again at 10am...we stayed but took a little break at Starbucks in between the games...we needed to warm up...so so chilly!
The 2nd game was not victorious and thus ended softball for Eva for the weekend
We all then headed back to our house and enjoyed cooking out BUT eating in...I can't believe this is the only pic I snapped...my firecracker dessert treat...sigh...would've been a great day for pics as we were all there
That night, Diana was working at Red's, so Rob, Pidge and I bopped by to visit her...share some nachos and play some Keno
Monday
Memorial Day! I started my day by taking Remi for a walk, getting some work done, working on some Blackout initiatives, meal planning and grocery ordering and blogging of course!
Then Rob, Pidge and I headed to the rail trail- long walk (4 miles) for Rob and me and a nice bike ride for Pidge- Diana stayed home to get her homework done and then she went for a run at the rail trail as we were finishing up
We relaxed at home for the afternoon and then headed out to meet with besties for some pizza at 900 Degrees in nearby Manchester- it was a fabulous way to end our long weekend!
What were you all up to?

Sounds like a great weekend with all of your favorite things- time with family, friends, girls' activities, and even some relaxation! Your food pics all look really good. Our weather also was not great until Monday- it wasn't hot by any stretch of the imagination (though our neighborhood pool opened and people got in it!) but the sun finally came out. Those 8:00 am games must have been really chilly!
Sounds like a fun weekend in spite of the weather. Ours wasn't bad Friday and most of Saturday, but Sunday and Monday were gray and wet and also much cooler here than normal. Summer is slowly coming in but it's sure taking it's time. That pizza looks really good! Your flowers are also so pretty...you have an eye for arranging. Enjoy the rest of your week!
Wow! What a BUSY long weekend! It sounds like you got to see/catch up with LOTS of people - that is always my favorite thing about a "good" weekend :). The weather here in East TN wasn't stellar either - we had been hoping to be outside more. At least you got to the rail trail and the softball games!
Thanks for letting me link up - always enjoy catching up with others on Hello Monday.
What a great time you have been having!
Diana is great, the practice looks like fun to watch.
Hooray for the tent at softball! Well done to the girls.
Such a fab weekend!
That sounds like a really busy weekend filled with family and friends!
It sounds like a great weekend! Hard to believe it is still chilly up there.
Another busy weekend and seems like a great mix of family, friends and good food!
I love reading about your weekend adventures! You are surrounded by such great friends and family! Have a great week ahead!
