Friday Night
It was time for our real estate appreciation event- Tacos and Margs- Laura knows how to put together a top shelf celebration for sure! Laurel and Cass joined me and we had a great time. I also had the chance to reconnect with some of our old dance family- it was a great night!
Eva and Rob were at her first tournament softball game for the weekend- she got to play against one of her hockey besties AND Windham was victorious-woohoo!
Diana was on a date
Saturday
Rob and Eva were off first thing for her next game and I enjoyed a slow morning which I desperately needed. Diana and I headed to Revitalize and then a little drive to catch up.
When we got home, she headed out with Jaidyn and then got her homework done and I got some prom supplies ready for Cass. I also whipped up some tortellini skewers for the festivities
Then headed out to set up
Laurel...the Bartender Extraordinaire
Alexis looked simply stunning- just loved her dress
It was so fun seeing all of the girls' dresses...each one was prettier than the next!
Then it was time to head up to the high school for the grand march- so much fun seeing all of the kids decked out! That is where I was able to see the rest of my besties' kids!
Suzy with her son Jayce
Harry and his date Sienna
Diana's Cheer Bestie Taylor
Lea's Daughter Sam and Kat's Son Matt
Debbie's Daughter Alyssa
Diana's Bestie Lily
and there is Lex with her friend Chloe
Our family friend Ryan- always a ham!
and then Jayce with Gauri
After the march, our parent group headed over to Red's for dinner (and to harass Diana- ha!) We had such a great night!
Sunday
It was great to have another slow morning to meal plan and grocery shop and blog. Diana headed off to work. Eva had stayed at a friends and we all met up at her next softball game of the weekend.
It ended up being her last game of the weekend- they lost
So we had the afternoon to catch up around the house
First...some planting!
and these guys were putting together a bike for Pidge who kept watching over them- ha!
and later Daddy cleaned up the pool and I settled in for some Karen Read coverage and crashed early!
What were you all up to?

Enjoyed reading about your weekend- as usual, so much fun happened in your neck of the woods! Love the prom photos and the walking out on the red carpet that the attendees did. Softball sounds good, too, except the loss on Sunday, but yah, to more time at home because of it :). Have a great Monday!
Looks like a fun weekend! I love the slow, easy mornings. The girls looked gorgeous at prom! And what a blast watching Eva do her thing on the ball field. Have a great week, Holly!
What full morning! The taco truck looks like a perfect way to kick off the weekend followed by a slow Saturday morning. Eva looks like she loves softball. So fun. Prom looks amazing too. We did some yard work this weekend too. Have a great week!
You can never go wrong with tacos and margs theme!
I love your tortellini skewers idea!
I love seeing the kids clean up so well since they are so freaking casual these days! They are so elegant and not like we looked at prom!
Good for you having some slower mornings with so much else going on around you. The prom pictures are pretty and it sounds like a good weekend. Happy Monday to you
Sounds like a fun weekend and I'm glad you had some down time too. May is always crazy. I love seeing all the dresses. The girls look so glam! Enjoy your week!
What a fun weekend! I love that you and your best friends are all there to support each other, even when it's the kids going to prom. What sweet friendships we've been blessed with! Those dresses the girls had on are all beautiful; I love seeing that in pictures that my friends share each year. I hope you have a great Monday, my friend! xoxo
Looks like a really great weekend! They all look so beautiful in their dresses!
{rom time is so special! My son and daughter-in-law is hosting an exchange student from Germany this year and she was so excited to see that proms are "real" and not jist in the movies! They do not have proms in her HS school in Germany
That prom march looks so fun! I don't know of any school around here that does anything like that. It sounds like you all had a great weekend.
You are definitely in the midst of May Madness and it all looks like such fun! Your prom photos from the past few weeks have been so beautiful! This time of year is always so special but so tiring! Looks like you are making the most of every memory in the making!
The prom pictures are so good. I love the red carpet! It sounds like a busy but fun weekend!
