Hi Friends and Happy Hump Day OR Happy Hodgepodge Day!
Linking up with Joyce to answer her fun questions...here we go...
1. March 15th is known as The Ides of March, the date on which Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44 B.C....have you ever been to Rome? If so what did you love most about the city? If not, is this a place you'd like to visit?
YES YES YES....we went during the summer of 2023 with friends to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was a true dream and trip of a lifetime. I loved Rome more than I ever thought I would...the architecture...the history...the wonderful people and the best food I have eaten in my entire life...highly recommend this beautiful city...so rich in culture and simply magical
2. 'Rome wasn't built in a day.' What project/activity/improvement (of any kind) do you have going on right now to which this saying might be applied?
I don't really have any projects per say but the first things I think of are work, of course, like trying to sell my first house and trying to close business with my full time job (make placement) which has been so difficult for me over the last few years and also my volunteer work....our Blackout Week takes a full year of planning every year...so much work and always so worth it!
Caprese salad or Prosciuto with melon? Caprese salad
Bruschetta or Antipasto? Bruschetta
Risotto or Gnocchi? Risotto

Green is your color too! I loved reliving some of the memories of your trip through the pictures. I know you had the trip of a lifetime!
I love your pictures of Rome. I agree it's magical, the whole country really. There's something about the light in Italy that makes it so and the people are gracious. Love that bright green on you! Have a great day...thanks for joining the HP this week!
I know I've seen all these Italy photos before but I LOVED seeing them all again! So hard to believe it's been nearly 2 years (I could have sworn it was last summer!).
