December

We decorated for Christmas and even scored Diana's prom gown...and we started to enjoy some holiday traditions before Diana's world came to a hault on December 10th.  Her first love broke up with her for no reason and she did not get a lead in the high school  production...yes both on the same day.  We kept pushing forward but none of us were in the Christmas spirit this year...sad to say

Very hopeful for 2025

Though it ended on a sad note, goodness, your year was chock full of good things from fun trips to the continuation of some wonderful traditions, to volunteering efforts paying off to the engagement, etc. I hope that writing this review was uplifting to you as you recounted so many blessings and special memories of the year. Sending you a virtual hug on the start of this new year, wishing nothing but the best for you and your family and grateful to have connected with you online :).

This was a fun recap to read. You had a full year and while it ended on a tough note, it's good to look back and see all the bright spots too. We feel our kids heartbreaks and disappointments and that just means we have loved well. Cheers to a new year!

Lesson learned —do not let a teen age boy be in charge of your happiness or steal your joy. Read “The Coffee Bean “ and the “Let Them Theory” .

God bless Diana. We all know the awful pain of our first heartbreak and God bless you. As they say-"you are only as happy as your unhappiest child". I am sorry for all the sadness. My prayer for each of you in 2025 is for good health, strength that only grows through pain and lots of beautiful moments. God bless!
