So Christian Breen of The Blackwater Grill hosted us last night. It was a true celebration. Our first company Christmas party in three years. As I listened to our owner speak last night, I got really choked up. There were times over the last two years when I didn't know if we would make it. I practiced what he asked me to do and that was have "blind faith."
Sitting there last night, I realized, we may just be on the other side of this thing. We fought a good fight and we had a much better year in 2010 than we did in 2009.
We are not back to normal yet but we are getting there and last night we had fun celebrating us.
I guess what stuck with me the most is when Bill said "you are my family- there was no other choice than to go on."
....and we keep on going on....

I'm so envious of this party, Hols! But I must say, if I can't still be with the BFS family I am so pleased I was able to introduce you so that you could be. It is heartwarming!
Jen, I should thank you EVERY day. This is where I belong- I don't know what I would do if I had to work with unethical and slimy people! This group is one of a kind-truly my second family. Thank thank you thank you! Miss you so much and hope when you come home again, we can set a sushi date! xoxoxo
