Hello Monday and Hello Gender Reveal! (February 20, 2023)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!

Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by.  If you blogged about your weekend, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below.....

We are coming off the sweetest weekend...here is what it looked like....

Friday Night

I met Eva and her pals at Family Faith.  She had a play date after school so we decided to meet up there for our monthly meeting.  We reviewed the 10 commandments and went over the meaning of Lent..I can't believe it is here!  It is my favorite time in church all year...I am here for all of the services and traditions

Saturday

It was great to go back to all of my favorite traditions.  First things first...DATE WALK...it's been a little bit due to the cold and other commitments...it was mild and the sun was out...spring is coming!

Then it was time for Starbucks and the dance drop off

Later, Rob took Eva to her basketball game and I came back to organize photos and videos from YAGP...they finally came in!

Then Eva went to spend time with Papa while Rob and I went to our tax appointment...oh boy was I dreading it...so glad that's over....

Later on, Rob headed to a special gig...a fundraiser for  a friend's grandchild with CF and a great time with his old band.

I took the girls to dinner at Coach Stop and then we snuggled up in our bed to watch one of our faves- Mean Girls :)  It was a great night

Sunday

Rob and Eva were off to her winter softball workout and Diana and I joined Papa for mass.

When we got home it was time to prep for the big gender reveal.

We all headed to Lisa's for the reveal!  It was SO FUN

and it's....

a....

GIRL!!!

Another girl for the Bretons...Rob and I were on Team Boy but I guess a girl will do ;)  It is funny because Kayla was too and you may be able to tell by her face in the video...too funny!

It was a wonderful winter weekend.....Baby "Sylvie Lynn" will be another blessing for our growing family :) She will be named after Rob's Aunt (Kayla's Godmother) and Marshall's Mom

Hello Monday- Kayla and Marshall's Wedding!

Hi Friends!  We are coming off a very exciting weekend!

Kayla and Marshall tied the knot on Saturday!

10/22/22

and everything was amazing- it was so good to share this very special time with family and friends and thrilled to get here and welcome Marshall into our family as our official son!

Get ready for picture overload... you will see a few videos too :)

Here is how the day looked.....

First thing, after coffee of course, we all got packed.

Then, I headed to the salon to have some eyelashes put on...I sent Rob these pics to make him jealous because I literally had five minutes to myself and got to relax- that's all we can hope for nowadays in this season ;)

Got to say a quick hi to Cass as we were leaving-she was doing the same thing :)

Then we all met up at the flower shop in town- Seemia at A&A Floral did a beautiful job for them and we were responsible for getting the flowers there!

We headed right to the venue to drop off the arrangements...

and then headed to the hotel to check in, unpack and get the bouquets in our room.

Then Rob and Papa went to hang with the guys and the girls and I headed to meet up with Kayla and all of the ladies in the "Get Ready Room"...we had such a great day getting our hair and makeup ready/done and snacking and sipping on apple cider mimosas...my girls ate up every second!

Eva with Zoe, Zach's Girlfriend, we just love her so much!

Diana is a hair boss and I am grateful she rocks a curling wand

Kayla got us all beautiful monogrammed silk pj's and slippers- she thought of everything as she is so so thoughtful!

Check out my slippers- I may have had to run to the bathroom for a little cry :)

Ally and Diana both look so much like Rob so we call them "Twins" .....their personalities are so alike too- ha!

The Breton Sisters

Out in the lobby the guys were having a toast!

On our way to the venue!

We are here!  The beautiful venue is The Canoe Club in West Bridgewater MA.

As Kayla was getting dressed...we helped...and snapped a few pics too of course

and then it was time for the ceremony...it was so beautiful and elegant...can't wait for the professional pics!

After the ceremony, we got some pics and then the parents were allowed to enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests :)

Kayla's Matron Of Honor Steph talked me into a pic with a filter- love looking younger- ha!

My Tribe- The Sisters I Never Had- Grateful to have them there with me for this momentous occasion- my heart is full!

Laurel, Cass and Beth Ann with Marshall's Uncle JJ (a.k.a John Marshall Jones of Smart Guy, Bosch and many more shows and movies- they are his biggest fans- ha!)

My Brother Matt and his Girlfriend Renee- we all met her for the first time and just love her!

My Gorgeous Parents

Then it was time to get announced!  So much fun :)  Can't wait to see the photos and video!

Their First Dance

Then I was able to capture Ally's Toast and the Parent Dances...yeah!

Kayla and Rob's Dance :)

Kayla and Papa's Dance

Marshall's Dance with His Mom Dawna

and the rest of the evening consisted of an amazing meal and lots of dancing- I was grateful to have good energy and be able to dance most of the night!  It is the most active I have been in months outside of our walks :)

My Little Fam

and we snuck away for a few more family pics!

So proud of my mom - 8 weeks post op on her knee replacement and she was able to move around really well and even dance!

LOVE the jumpsuit that Kayla changed into and her being so thoughtful, she got the girls the cutest sweatsuits so the rest of the night would be comfy for dancing!  This Bride thought of everything!

The Twins

The Dudes

Kayla was the EASIEST and most CALM bride I have ever met...she made this entire experience so wonderful for us all...will never forget it...honored to be a part of her family XO
