Friday Favorites (January 20, 2017)

Oh Friday....thanks for coming back!  Just in time....one more week of winter has passed...praise the Lord!  In case I have mentioned it before, I HATE winter but I Love all of the other seasons in New England so I grin and bare it until March :)

As always, linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea HERE

Here are some faves from this week!

Okay! You know I love parties- I love themes and I love putting together creative birthday parties for my girls.  Well Lea's party for Sam rivaled any of my parties on Friday night. It was a Sleepover Party for Sam and she was turning 10.  The girls had a ball and the moms enjoyed it just as much ;)
I took some pics to capture Lea's creativity.

(for the moms only of course)

Photo Booth!

Chef Mike at your service!

We were giving Kelly a hard time about looking so great just to walk around Hobby Lobby ;)

Moms getting silly!

Rob's garlic bread made this pic- thank God- he will be happy ;)

and of course I needed to snap a pic of my Paleo wine that I was enjoying- I am excited that I have a healthy option!

and speaking of healthy options....we are LOVING Whole 30.  It really is showing us how to eat "whole" if you will.  It is work but we are making it fun.

Here are some of my favorite "eats" from this week.  Will continue to share recipes per your requests- just let me know what you want me to share!

Monkey Salad

Roasted Pork with Butternut Squash and Brussel Sprouts

Bullet Proof Coffee- FTW!

Buffalo Chicken Casserole

Paleo Waffle with Almond Butter and Banana with a Chicken Sausage on the side

Bacon and Eggs with Tomato, Avacado and Honeydew Melon

Seafood Saute over Broccoli Rabe

Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps with Fresh Blueberries on the side

Sweet and Sour Meatballs from "Against All Grain Celebrations"

Plantain Chips with Almond Butter- Great Snack!

Yummo right?

Our friend Joe's cooking is a definite fave and quality time with good friends is my most favorite- we had a ball at Jess and Joe's for the Patriots Game on Saturday night.

This is what you get when you ask your hubby to take a pic of you and your friends
I believe these are called "Hubby Selfies"

and Joe cooking with the gloves on- I can't even- I was crying

and finally.....mission accomplished ;)

"Eva's Antics"
Ahhh....always a fave

Watching her and her pals at Gym Ken

and then watching her down a cupcake- priceless!

and how about these pretty little things?
A friend of a friend of mine makes them!
When she heard I was requesting a few, she had them ready and shipped to NH in 48 hours- unreal!
First she made me a Silver Wolverines one.  Fun way to show our team spirit!
and then I requested a pretty pink and gold one that my friend already had.  She made me the same exact one and I'm in love!

and he is doing it again- giving it a go at re-election.
The campaign fun has already started.  It was actually my favorite part of the whole process last time- meeting people from town- thoughtful people with questions and the outpouring of support- just love our town so much.  Here is to three more years Robby B!

and how could you not vote for this? ;)

This book?  Done in 24 hours- seriously though?  Read it...today...outstanding!
This book was such a relief to me.  I tried starting three different books in January and none would hold me.  In addition to really enjoying this, I also think it helped me get out of a a reading rut.  I am now trying to read at least one book a month.  Still deciding on my next one...hopefully by next week, I can announce what it is...recommendations always welcome!

and leave it to my guardian angel Janie....roses for me for a surgery present and goldfish for Pidge...also a huge coloring book for Diana (not pictured here)...she truly is my guardian angel...always knows when my spirits need lifting...just love her

and we enjoyed our entire "Team Will" at our 2017 Kick Off- so so blessed to be part of this team- wonderful people- wonderful firm!

and last night, we had a very successful presentation of our proposed school building project- God willing this is the year that it passes!  That would be a definite Friday Favorite, if not, a Favorite from my life! :)

That's a wrap!  Hope you all have an amazing weekend!
