Papa's 69th Birthday!

What a blast we had!

We ate and drank until we couldn't anymore...mexican dip, tostitoes, cheesy appetizers, frozen pina coladas..and then...gnoccis with Mimi's homemade "gravy" and birthday cake and the mixed berry pie from Apple Orchards...delish...too much but delish!

We laughed so hard, I almost passed out. (some of the laughs were at the baby's expense) as we tormented her telling her Chucky Cheese was coming for cake (she is still a bit scare of him and she wasn't going to let him in the house!)

We wrapped up the day with an extremely competitive game of Scattegories...Zack totally got into that game and I knew he would...he won of course!

Happy Birthday Dad...you are the BOMB! xoxoxo

Storyland!

So Mimi and Papa took us to Storyland and it was truly a magical experience. My mom and I got choked up in Cinderella's castle because Diana was so enamored with Cinderella.

Diana is not even 2 and she was a trooper. Although she was scared of some things, she quickly came around. She even took a spin on the teacups with Daddy and Papa Pete...she was so brave!

We were exhausted by late afternoon so took over for our inn...it was beautiful- The Lodge at Jackson Village. She dipped in the pool and relaxed for awhile. Diana was her typically little fish self!

Dinner was superb. (Thanks to my mom for finding our inn and restaurant- she always finds the 5 star places!) We highly recommend the Stonehurst Manor for dinner. Food was great, service excellent and view gorgeous.

Today we hit the outlets on the way home and got some good buys. We wrapped up our wonderful weekend with a "colloquial lunch" ha ha...that is for you my peeps :)
