Hello Monday and Hello Nantucket 2026! (June 1, 2026)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends.  If you did too, link up with us below!

For me, it was time for a girls' weekend on Nantucket...a nice distraction from all of the graduation emotions.  We didn't go last year because it was the same weekend as the WHS Senior Prom and several friends' kids were seniors and going.

We lucked out this year, because the Annual Wine Festival was moved to this past weekend and some friends wanted to attend.  The Senior Prom was already two weeks ago so we got to and enjoy one of our favorite destinations.

Friday Morning

I met Lea, Lisa and Kat at the Park N Ride in town and we were off to Hyannis!  Once we got there, we parked, loaded our luggage and got on the boat!  Cass, Laurel, Jess and Kristen were already there saving seats for us.  It was a smooth one-hour trip to Nantucket from Hyannis via the Hy-Line Fast Ferry.  Once we got there, we grabbed our luggage and I started snapping pics.  Then we waited a half hour for Cru to open for lunch.  We were excited because the weather was great and we could eat outside!

Love our lunch!  I had the haddock sandwich with fries and some yummy cocktails :)

Group Shot!

Then we walked down to our hotel and checked in and headed back out to enjoy the downtown.

First stop was one of our favorite shops Epernay- they were pouring Vokel and it was delish!

Then we walked around to hit more shops- such pretty plants everywhere

Then we hit more shops before heading back to get ready for dinner.

6 of us headed to Island Kitchen and had an amazing dinner.  Truth be told, Cass and I split a meal as we weren't very hungry.  Can't believe I didn't take one pic!  I ended up wearing the blue and green silk maxi dress but didn't snap a pic- oh well!  After that, we lounged in the hotel lobby and patio before calling it a night!

Saturday

Our room was up bright and early and we headed out for a walk downtown to get teas and coffees and muffins.  We walked back to the hotel and enjoyed our breakfast on the hotel patio.  It was a nice slow morning and fun to catch up.

Later on, we got showered and dressed for the day then headed back into town for more shops and a great lunch at Brotherhood Of Thieves- yum!

Love some of the names on the homes here- check out the name on this one- ha~!

My fave kinda Jeep- one with Lilly wrap- I really want to do that and I am having fun threatening Rob ;)

Then it was time to divide and conquer.  Half of us headed back to get dolled up for the Wine Fest and the other half of us grabbed an Uber and headed out to Cisco Brewery.  It is exactly how I had imagined- such a fun vibe-great beers and cocktails- fun set up- great live band but then...

The torrential rain and heavy winds finally arrived.  We couldn't complain- we lucked out and it was not a washout all weekend but the storm finally arrived and it was brutal.  We finished our one drink, hit the merch store there then called an Uber back to the hotel.

Once back, Cass texted me that they had cancelled the wine fest!  That had never happened.  So we all gathered in the hotel lobby, near the fireplace, chatted, caught up, played cards and enjoyed some pizza

I was so overtired and started not to feel well so I went to bed by 7pm.  I was toast.

Sunday

Our room was up bright and early...we got dressed and walked downtown.  We stopped for teas and coffees then headed over to the ferry- we were on the first one out at 7:40am.  It was smooth sailing. we were grateful because they were calling for heavy winds.  We got back to Hyannis around 8:45 then hit the road for home.  We were home a little after 11.  It was a great trip!

When I got home, it was time to cook then get unpacked and organized for the week.  Eva is fighting a stomach bug :(  Diana headed to her besties house for Grad Cap decorating...again, how did we get here?  Pray for me Mamas- Pray for Me :/
