What I'm Reminiscing About
Our Beautiful Graduation Weekend!
What I'm Loving
Summer Fridays Under Eye Patches- they brighten my face up so much!
You can find them HERE
What We've Been Up To
It was a crazy busy one...but a very special one as you will see...I will never forget June of 2026...
We finished up the gifts on the 26th of each month for Diana- the final gift was a personalized compact from Mother to Daughter and a framed collage for her college dorm room
Although her dismissal requests were getting old and I was getting tired of them, I took advantage of her very last one and took her to a nice lunch outside where she enjoyed her first lobster roll- side note: it is actually her place of employment! :)
Decision Day was an exciting one at school!
We enjoyed the WHS Music Awards and the Tributes to the Graduating Seniors
Eva rocked her social studies project at the Cultural Fair
Mama enjoyed her therapy session night out with Fellow Senior Mama Melissa ;)
Mama also enjoyed getting away with besties to Nantucket for a weekend
We loved giving Diana her special graduation gifts and especially showing her the grad video we had created of her life
Blue and Gold Night was our fave! Diana won two scholarships and was also recognized for being a New Hampshire Scholar for Academics and Arts!
She also loved decorating her Grad Cap with besties and putting the finishing touches on it at home
She wrapped up classes at WHS!
After classes were done, during senior week, they had all sorts of fun planned in between grad rehearsals. When school got out each day, she was with friends constantly- living it up!
Mama and Janie enjoyed a networking night with SHRN
and Mama loved playing in the WHS Jaguar Football Golf Tournament! Our team won worst golfers which came with some great prizes including a free golf lesson! Ha! We will take it!
Diana and I snuck in a Starbucks date :)
and she had a blast on the Senior Boat Cruise
and with her "frat boys" after ;)
We loved seeing the senior athletes honored at the Sports Banquet
We did some cap and gown pics and made a special video of Diana visiting all of her schools in town :)
We enjoyed a special Senior Mass at St. Matt's
Senior Breakfast was extra special this year for obvious reasons- after 10 years of volunteering on this committee it was our turn....ahhhh!
Then Graduation was upon us- still feels surreal! We were so lucky to have sun (despite the crazy heat) for an outdoor ceremony which meant our entire family could be there-greatest gift!
The next day, we hosted Diana's party....we had over 100 people in and outside of our home! Wish I had taken more pics...it was all a success until some kids crashed at night and I had to shut it down...remembering all the good though!
The next day we got to enjoy seeing Diana dance...maybe for one of the last times ever....Mrs. Mullen invited her back to be part of the LDA End Of Year Show-she played the Bank Manager in Mary Poppins
and the very next day she was off to Merrimack for Orientation-what a whirlwind!
There has been so much softball for Pidge!
and she wrapped up school last Wednesday!
She had a hard time leaving Ms. Chop- her fave teacher!
There has been time on the rail trail- my refuge- my salvation
What I'm Dreading
Nothing at the moment- thank God!
What I'm Working On
Work and Balancing Home Life AND Blackout 2026 is in full force!
What I'm Excited About
Watching Diana Cheer at the 2026 CHaD Football Game at St. A's on Friday Night!
What I'm Watching/Reading
Diana and I are finishing up our third binge of Smash
and I just started Season 5 of Sweet Magnolias which was just released!
My Book for June is "The Friend Zone" by Abby Jiminez.
Truth be told I am still working my way through it- I have been a bit busy ;)
Enjoying it as I have enjoyed the rest of her books that I have read!
Kristen Peterson doesn't do drama, will fight to the death for her
friends, and has no room in her life for guys who just don't get her.
She's also keeping a big secret: facing a medically necessary procedure
that will make it impossible for her to have children.
Planning
her best friend's wedding is bittersweet for Kristen—especially when she
meets the best man, Josh Copeland. He's funny, sexy, never offended by
her mile-wide streak of sarcasm, and always one chicken enchilada ahead
of her hangry. Even her dog, Stuntman Mike, adores him. The only catch:
Josh wants a big family someday. Kristen knows he'd be better off with
someone else, but as their attraction grows, it's harder and harder to
keep him at arm's length.
What I'm Listening To
We are shuffling over here...Olivia Rodrigo's new album just came out and we are enjoying that along with some Ariana Grande and Diana's Senior Playlist still...
