Locks Of Love!

This is a long overdue post. My lovely stepdaughter Kayla donated 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love! Enjoy these before and after shots :)

WHAT IS LOCKS OF LOVE?
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. The organization meets a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses they provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.

I Couldn't Resist- My Post Dedicated To The Boys Of Summer- YES Who Else But The Sox?

How bout them Sox? I tried to post the Pablebon video but I am having technical difficulties. My favorite part of all of these World Series Championship Fesitivities has been the "Pablebon Irish Jig". He was doing the jig on a flat bed truck yesterday, in the middle of the parade, while it was moving! It was AWESOME!

He is one crazy guy...and we are still basking in the glory of our 2nd World Series Title in 3 years :)

Company Night at the Venetian Moon

In the mood for a chi chi Boston type lounge without having to go into the city? Well, jump on over to the Venetian Moon in Reading Square. Outstanding martinis...fabulous Italian fare and such contemporary chic decor...white leather couches...candles everywhere and metallic accents...to die for!

Bill took the gang there on Wednesday night. We have been through a very tough time lately and it was a great night to bond, regroup and remember how lucky we are to have each other.

Group shot is Steve, Smitty, Me, Denise and Bill in the back (Jen was home sick- we missed her!) You will also catch Kevin (Bill's brother in the other shot with him)

Happy Halloween from Bambi Breton!

Enough said!

Dinner & The Red Sox at the Jortbergs

Had a lovely time on Saturday night at the Jortberg's house. Suzanne and Paul are great people. They were some of our very first friends here in town. Suzanne even coached Ally in instructional softball when she was just a little girl!

We started with some awesome apps- Suzanne truly outdid herself! She made an outstanding spinach and artichoke dip and Paul whipped up the best cosmopolitans we have ever had- they rival those from any local restaurant.

For dinner, we indulged in Suzanne's homemade Baked Stuffed Shrimp, Pasta with Proscuitto and Mixed Green Salad.

We topped off the evening with an awesome Red Sox game...what more could we want? We had some laughs and just a very nice night. Love them!

Lynn & Matt "Trash The Dress!"

Have you heard? The latest trend in wedding photography is called "Trash The Dress!" Brides across the country are opting for one last dramatic photo shoot in their much coveted gowns. Why not? Your alternative is stowing that dress away in a box in the attic!

If it were up to me and hey now it is, I would highly recommend doing a session to "Trash the Dress!"

Do you really trash it? Well no! You may get it a bit dirty but nothing your local dry cleaner can't fix!!!

Lynn and Matt were such a fun couple to work with- true pros! We had such a great time up at Hampton Beach and then on the coast of Rye Harbor, NH.

Enjoy these shots :) More to come after several hours of editing- we took 702 pictures!!!!!! Yeah! I get a little excited and you all know how much of a wedding psycho I am ;)

Check out our website at www.lifecaptured.org for even more images from this session as well as weddings, sporting events and baby/children portrait sessions!

Pat "Pappy" & Joanne ~ October 13, 2007

Pat and Joanne tied the knot in Tarrytown, NY this weekend. Pat and Rob have become very close friends through work. They worked together back at Ameriquest and then Rob recently referred him into Oracle. Their friendship is a special one and we were thrilled to have been able to share in Pat and Joanne's special day. YES! We took pictures- 391 to be exact!

We have never been to a nicer wedding- the venue for the reception was just incredible. Check out the facility at www.tarrytownestate.com

Here are some picture highlights!
