We had a blast at our town's annual Fireworks Night up at the high school.
Each year, I swear, it gets better and better...probably because of my kids' ages.
Last Wednesday night, we packed up our picnic dinner, staked out our spot (which is prime real estate) and welcomed our friends over the next few hours.
We had a blast catching up and watching the kids run around...eat slushies and ice cream and then we all hunkered down for the main event.
It was a night that certainly did not disappoint and I love the way our town always does it the week before the 4th. It helps us to get into that Patriotic Spirit even more!

It is one of the best nights in our town...all year! They have a band...food trucks...and THE fireworks....such a blast!
