Weekend Recap (All About The Girls Edition)

It's time for another weekend recap and I thought I would join Heather in all the Monday linkup fun HERE

Here is what our weekend looked like.....

Friday

Daddy left for a guys' golf weekend trip so it was Mama and the girls.  Once we got Diana on the bus, Pidge and I headed to mass.  After getting to spend some time with her at Grammy's funeral lunch, Father Brian waved to Eva as soon as we walked into church.  Then when it was time for the offertory, he asked the parish to say a prayer for Eva and that she may be blessed with wisdom and be a leader.  It choked me up but what really hit me was when the sun shone so bright into the church- I knew Grammy was sending a sign.

After that, Mama got some work done and we met Cass for a quick coffee.  Before heading back for more work, we ran over to Love and Flour to book Eva's bday party.  She was so excited!

Then it was time to get back to work and while I worked, Pidge kept herself busy.

That night, Diana had voice lessons and started to work on her audition piece for TTC.  She also showed me how much she has improved with Castle on a Cloud- still working on her confidence but getting there!

Then it was time to head over to the Fourniers for a girls' night/dinner.  Cass made us the best lobster pie, caprese salad and roasted brussel sprout leaves...sooo yummy and such great girl time!

(The little ones got mac and cheese and Pidge was very happy about that).  Here she is helping Auntie Cass get a fork so she could dig in :)

Love these girls...

 Saturday

Lucky The Leprachaun paid the girls a visit and left them chocolate coins and a toilet bowl full of green water :)

We headed to Diana's last basketball game of the season- Daddy had to miss it because he was away but Papa Bob came to watch- the girls played a great game and beat Salem 16-15.

Then we took Papa out for breakfast.  Later it was time for some running around.  We dropped Diana off at play practice and Pidge and Mama got some errands done.  While we were running around, Daddy was in Florida having lots of golf fun and sent Mama some fun pics!

Then it was time to pick up Diana and bring the girls to my parents for a fun sleepover adventure.  They enjoyed dinner at Fudrucker's and Ice Cream at Richardson's inside the big Jordan's Furniture- people flock there on the weekends for all of the entertainment and fun.

and Mama had a free night...alone...I didn't know what to do with myself but my besties to the rescue- we decided to cease the opportunity and have a girls' night- one of Kayla's best friends, Diana, came to watch the other kiddos- she is just wonderful!  The "Fab Four" headed to the Chop House for some cocktails and apps and later on hit Old School for a festive toast to St. Paddy's Day

Sunday

It was time for mass for Mama and Papa Bob.  After mass, I went down to pick up the girls..of course they wanted to stay but we headed to grab some sushi and have a cozy lunch at home.  We relaxed the rest of the day and thank God Daddy came home last night- he makes us all better people XOXO

It was a great weekend!
