Happy Birthday to my Wonderful Husband!

and many happy and healthy more!

We enjoyed a cocktail out alone last night after Ally's Senior Skit...and courtesy of our wonderful son who scored a touchdown in yesterday's big game!

We even got to see one of Rob's old friends play at BWG...what a great start to his birthday.

Today we enjoyed mass and will enjoy a family dinner later on...making one of his faves...sheppard's pie :)

P.S If you head over to the Blackwater Grill in Salem this fall...try the "Harvestini"...it is just delish...a perfect blend of pomengranate vodka and apple cider and the glass was rimmed with cinnamon and sugar...tell Christian the Bretons sent you!

Facing Her Fears (and her biggest obsession)

So Diana became quickly afraid of Chuck E Cheese when my parents took her to see him this summer...she also became completely obsessed with him and could not got a day without saying his name 10 times.

Recently, we had some fun at my parents and at our house pretending Chuck E was at the door...we would even ring the bell and then my mom and I were doubled over in silent laughter looking at her face and fear...I know we are awful!

Well Diana decided that she needed to see Chuck E again and begged me on Wednesday. So on Wednesday night, instead of roasting the pork I took out for dinner...we trekked it up to Chuck E Cheese in Manchester.

Well! As soon as we got there, she was so excited..."Hi!! Chuck E!" "I'm goin to Chuck E's house!" etc etc

She was a brave girl when we got in and was even waving to the mechanical Chuck E from a distance BUT

as soon as the real Chuck E started walking around and coming close to us..the screams started...she wanted to like him but she was just too scared

She still enjoyed her pizza and some rides...and Mummy and Daddy had some good laughs :)

WHS vs. Bishop Brady- Zack scored a touchdown! Tough loss but great fight 34-26

Fall Things

The fall has just begun and there are already so many little things to enjoy....

Football festivities...Fois and Rita came to enjoy one of Zack's games and we had a pizza party after...Diana, of course, roped Fois and Rita into reading to her! She made some real fast friends :)

Dance classes are becoming a little more bearable...so my lunch break on Wednesdays, for now, is stressful but hey...in the long run, it will be worth it...right Mum?? :)

Diana enjoyed her first PB&J at one of Zack's football games

Ally and I went dress shopping for her Fall Dance/Freshman Reception next weekend and we immediately both fell in love with the same dress...we agreed and that was a victory...I took a quick pic of her in it :)

Got a new car...well a new used car...my first "crossover/suv" if you will...I am sooo excited! Of course, I had to purchase the family stickers...I will admit to you that I had the stickers way before the car...I just needed them..I know..that is crazy me

Diana enjoyed Alice's 2nd bday party...she tried to monopolize the slide...sometimes there is no reasoning with her...have I mentioned the terrible twos are here for a while?

We enjoyed apple picking as you already saw....but I also endulged and went to our favorite farm stand down the street to purchase some very special white pumpkins...going nouveau

Rob made his first apple pie of the season and it was better than ever

and I didn't want to say it...or jinx it but what the hell...it is what it is and I may not even do it, even if I get cast...but I auditioned this week for the first time in 15 years...I still can't believe it...I didn't do my best but oh well...I drove away feeling proud that I had the courage to get up there again...we shall see

Apple Picking 2010

and what a great time we had at Sunnycrest Farms in Londonderry...Diana was so happy to run, run, run and eat a bunch of her favorite food...apples!!!!

Zack was a big help in Diana picking several apples...

We also grabbed some corn for dinner along with some kettle corn for a little treat!
