Here we are....10 years ago!
We decided to celebrate with a little trip to Nantucket Island
We were lucky that my parents took our girls so we could enjoy ourselves.
We truly reconnected and had a wonderful time
We started with a beautiful ferry ride out of Hyannis
Once we got to the island, we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel
The Nantucket Resort and Hotel
They knew it was our anniversary and they surprised us with balloons, a card, chocolate covered cranberries and a candle and bath salts...we were spoiled!
LOVED our room too!
Our first destination was to find Slip 14 and try The Berry Sexy cocktail...it did not disappoint!
We walked around a bit and then back to our hotel...
to our surprise, we laid down for what we thought would be "a little while" and ended up sleeping for 15 hours straight! Talk about catching up!
The next day, we grabbed a quick breakfast at The Fog Island Cafe (which was great)
and then walked over to Young's Bicycle Shop to rent our bikes!
After that, we meant business! We enjoyed my favorite part of the trip and that was biking to Dionis beach...what a workout and such a beautiful ride
Later on, we did some exploring and bar hopping
and then we had our romantic anniversary dinner at Ventuno- very good!
The next morning, it was breakfast at our hotel and back to the ferry
It actually took us most of the day to travel back home but it was worth it!
Happy Anniversary My Love...I will never forget this special weekend that we shared...I enjoyed all the laughs and all the romance and wish us another 50 more!!!
