Hi Friend and Happy Monday! I am here with My Partner In Crime Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends. Hope you will join us! Here is what we were up to...
Thursday
Cass and Alexis came over first thing and we hit the road to head up to the lakes region.
First...we dropped Eva off at her theater camp and then made a Quick Pit Stop for Breakfast at The Purple Finch Cafe in Bedford. SO GOOD :)
We were staying overnight at the famous Margate in Laconia so we could head to see our beloved Shania Twain that night in Gilford/Bank of NH Pavilion! (My fave concert venue)
This was my and Cass's 5th time seeing Shania and 2nd time for Alexis and Diana!
We spent the day by the lake and on the little beach at the hotel. It was very relaxing.
When our room was ready, we took showers, got ready and then headed to an early dinner at Ellacoya down the road. It was really good!
While at dinner, I was ducked- yeah! :)
Then we hit the venue...grabbed a drink...and our rented lawn chairs and parked out on the lawn. Since we got there early, we secured a great location! It is so relaxing and chill up on the lawn- highly recommend it if you ever see a concert there!
The opening act was a gal named Mackenzie Porter- up and coming Country artist and she was fab but nothing compared to our Shania
She was fabulous...truly gets better with age...she played all of our faves...we did not have one complaint!
Such a wonderful time chalk full of amazing memories!
We crashed when we finally got back to the hotel around midnight
Friday
On the way home...these two were wiped from partying like rock stars ;)
We were up bright and early and headed home. I jumped back on my desk to work.
That night, my little fam of four headed to Red's for dinner and then to see the TTC show up at the high school. The girls needed to support some besties. Diana scooted out for a cheer practice too which happened to be there in the gym.
Great show and great night!
When we got home, Rob and I finished watching the series, "Amy Bradley Is Missing." Have you watched that documentary? It is keeping us wondering...watch it today...you can find it on Netflix.
Saturday
I made a couple of meals and Diana and I headed over to our friends to drop them off. They just experienced a major loss in their family.
Then Mimi came over to show us a few options of tops to wear for Diana's senior pics. Amber, one of our fave photographers, is going to get a pic of the three generations for us, at the end of the shoot in a few weeks! :)
Then I did grocery shopping (fun fun) ;) and later crashed to watch a new series Cass recommended for me "The Hunting Wives." I am totally sucked in!
Rob was playing at a grad party at a friends' house in the neighborhood and I was going to attend for a little bit but I started feeling sick. I was actually shaking and exhausted. Just too much go go go lately, so I bowed out and rested in bed the rest of the afternoon and night. Pidge took care of me because she is an angel :)
Diana worked...
No pics from our Saturday...boo...
Sunday
It was time for my 2nd job! I headed up north to the seacoast region and took my new buyers to several homes!
We had a very productive morning.
While I was busy working, Diana headed out for a day of choreography at ECE. They rehearsed some routines for the big Shrine Game next weekend- we can't wait! Proceeds from this game go to the Children's Hospital at Shriners.
When I got home, I got cooking and Rob threw steaks on the grill for our dinner
Delish for my one meal of the day!
Then we headed out to the rail trail for a family walk (Well Rob, me and Remi- we couldn't even say the words without him going crazy- it is his happy place just like Mama's :) )
Last night, Diana worked and everyone kept busy around the house...I snuggled up to watch some more "Hunting Wives."
What were you all up to?

Your weekending skills are impressive! Your Shania shirt is so cute and I have a friend who is a big fan of hers. She looks great #goals! So kind of you to reach out to your friends in their time of need. Hope your week is off to a good start today!
What fun to see Shania again! I'm glad the concert was so good!! It looks like a blast as was all of your weekend. The pictures with three generations- how poignant that Diana's doing that as part of her senior pics. Have a great Monday!
I love Shania but have never seen her in concert. How fun! I've heard of The Hunting Wives but haven't watched it. We just finished one season of The Lioness which was intense but good. Getting a picture with three generations is so special. They're a treasure as time goes by. Have a great week!
How fun!! Looks like you all had a great weekend!
I hope Eva had a good time at theatre camp, that breakfast looks so good!
What a fan weekend, the lake and seeing Shania Twain!
So sorry about your friends loss, how kind to make some meals for them.
