Oh friends...we are coming off an amazing weekend...we thoroughly enjoyed our Wizard Of Oz Movie and Adventure....here is what the weekend looked like...
Friday Night
I took Diana to have her hair straightened...Claribel the Magician to the rescue again...can you say Cloud 9?
Before
and After
After that, we enjoyed our takeout sushi and watched the WHS graduation...always fun when we can see Daddy on TV...we all got misty actually...just so happy for these kids to have the real traditions back!
Saturday
Date Walk First Thing!
Then it was time to get Diana to ballet and Mama got to catch up over breakfast with the Dance Moms....
Right after ballet, we packed up the car and hit the road...we made a pit stop for lunch at Markey's in Seabrook NH....got my first steamers fix! Really felt like the start of summer!
Then we headed to Portsmouth and got to check in early...we met up with my parents and we all had cocktails and mocktails in the lobby lounge.....
Everyone wanted to relax a bit at the hotel before heading out for the evening but Diana and I decided to walk around downtown and hit several shops...Portsmouth was HOPPING...I was so happy to see the return of tourism and restaurants and stores packed again....the businesses were so happy as were we!
Later on, we got freshened up and headed out....we had an amazing dinner at Martingale Wharf...it was our parents' first time there and they gave it thumbs up all around....our meals were awesome and the atmosphere top notch as always....we forgot to take pics there but snapped a couple of silly shots before heading off to the movie!
Then it was time to head to the Drive In- Barn Z Drive In to be exact...the girls LOVED posing on the Yellow Brick Road with their favorite teachers, directors and friends...
We LOVED the movie...it blew us all away....we laughed...we cried...we fit in all of the emotions....
Sunday
My mom and I took one of our special power walks around Portsmouth....we made another stop at Prescott Park and snapped pics of all of the gorgeousness!
After that, we freshened up for the day and we all headed to breakfast at The Friendly Toast- an amazing place full of retro memorabilia...we got to sit outside this time...and the meal did not disappoint...I enjoyed their avocado toast...
After breakfast, we headed to the beach! It was pure bliss at Wallis Sands...
Sunday night we headed over to the Batsons for dinner and swimming and it was a great way to complete our lovely weekend.....
Linking up for Hello Monday, A Day Late HERE
