Today is Ash Wednesday....it marks the beginning of Lent AND my favorite time in the Catholic Church all year.
It reminds me to repent...to declutter and cleans in all areas of life....it also reminds me to sacrifice and do more good.
I always give up one thing for Lent and then a few years ago, I added the tradition of doing one good deed a week for every week in Lent as well.
I am really looking forward to making that happen again this year.
Today and then every Friday in Lent, we don't eat meat either. Another sacrifice another reason to make me read and learn more.
