Girls Night at Cassandra's

Oh it was such a great night with my favorite girls: Cass, Jules, Ann-Marie and Mel. We enjoyed Cass's famous Caramel Apple Martinis, some great wine and some delicious apps and desserts.

As Cass claimed, all of her recipes were brand new but she DID NOT disappoint.

It was fun to trade mommy stories and also live vicariously through Mel who is in a fairly new relationship and getting ready to share their first Thanksgiving together.

A Virus :(

After having a lovely evening at home, with some old friends: The Cadorets, Petrons and Laurie Sweetser, Diana and I went to the emergency room.

It appears that we picked up a stomach virus and it was awful!

I still feel lousy but I am on the mend..more importantly, my pumpkin seems to be doing better. She was put on Pedialyte and now she is on a mix of Pedialyte and formula.

I feel terrible for her because she already has acid reflux and eating issues and now this! I hope this madness ends soon....

The good news? We had an amazing election and we have a wonderful new President, Barack Obama- our first African American President- we have come a long way!

Happy Halloween 2008!

We had an ABSOLUTE BLAST yesterday!!!

First we went to Daddy's work at Oracle for the trick-or-treating party. It was fun to finally see where Dad works and meet all of the great people he works with. Of course, Diana, aka the Baby Fairy, was a big hit!

We then headed over to Mimi and Papa's. We had a little Halloween Party last night and enjoyed my appetizers- cocktail meatballs and shrimp in puff pastry along with my Halloween Cocktails- Pomegranate Cosmos. Later on, once Gina and Rob arrived, we had a carmelized onion pizza from Bertucci's which was awesome.

Auntie Mar came over for a visit and Baby Diana just can't get enough of her! She was even talking to her in her own little baby language :)

So...as we got buzzed and feasted we got soooo silly and could not get enough of our Baby Fairy!

It was a blast handing out candy too- my parents have the PERFECT neighborhood in Stoneham for Trick-Or-Treating!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

The "After Party" (Diana's Christening Party)

Enjoy!

Diana's Christening

Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day! Diana Mary Breton was baptized at St. Matthew's Church in Windham, NH.

The weather was wonderful and our closest family and friends joined us in our special celebration. Diana's Godmother is my best friend Cassandra and her Godfather is my brother Matt. We were honored that they stood up for our baby girl!

After the ceremony, we all enjoyed wonderful apps, cocktails, dinner and dessert at The Blackwater Grill in Salem. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. Rob plays here in the bar most Friday nights but the restaurant is also terrific AND the function room downstairs is so funky and fun. The staff was amazing and Christian, the owner, is a terrific business person and a pleasure to work with!

Enjoy the pix..there are many...they may take up several posts...can't help it...I am a proud mom :)
