Wednesday Hodgepodge

Hi Friends!  It is time to linkup with Joyce for her Hodgepodge Linkup...so let's answer her fun questions once again...

1. Are you a naturally trusting person? Is trust built on logic or 'gut instinct'? Does everyone deserve a second chance? Elaborate.

I am and unfortunately sometimes I trust too easily and quickly and get burned.  I tend to be naive and gullible- yikes- anyway, that is something I am working on.  Yes I believe people deserve second chances if they mess up and apologize and we are all human-we make mistakes and everyone deserves a break.

2. 'Beware the Ides of March'...March 15th on the ancient Roman calendar, these words were made famous by William Shakespeare in his play Julius Caesar.  Caesar was assassinated on March 15th 44 B.C. Have you read any Shakespeare? If so, do you have a favorite? Have you ever been to Rome?

How very true this statement is.  I had to read Shakespeare in High School and College- not my fave, however, I like some of the more modern, romantic interpretations of his stories on the big screen.  YES Rome goes down as one of my favorite places I have ever been in my life- the architecture-the people-the food- take me back!

3. Do you like a Caesar salad? If given the choice between a garden/house salad or Caesar which do you order? Anchovies or no? What's your favorite salad dressing?

Yes to Caesar- prefer it over garden and yes to the anchovies especially if they are the fancy white anchovies- Tuscan Market and Tuscan Kitchen both near us serve their Caesar salads that way and they are delish.  My favorite salad dressings tend to me lemon vinaigrette or a Greek dressing.

4. Where do you typically work (or blog if that's easier) at home? Do you have a dedicated home office space? Are you happy with that space?

Yes I work from home most of the time unless I occasionally go into our office but those days are not often.  I miss it from time to time but I miss a busy and buzzing office more so.  Hope to get that back in the future- it feeds my soul.  I also like to meet clients and candidates on the road and in coffee shops.  I do love my home office- it is my sacred space where I hold my work and family lives together.  Lots of magic happens in this sacred space :)  I do my blogging here too!

5. Snow drops, daffodils, lenten roses, crocus, hyacinth, or early tulips...what's your favorite early Spring flower?

Daffodils and tulips- bring on the bright colors and the smell of spring blooming all around us!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Praying for calm and productive March- praying that business picks up- praying for joy for my girls- praying for a warm spring and wonderful memories to be made

Your home office is so pretty! Your work life balance must be so much easier not having a commute and being able to throw laundry in the machine during a break, etc. I loved your pictures of Italy when you guys went there- can you go back and take more pictures, lol? Have a great day!

I love a desk by the windows. Such a nice office space. I feel like mine is a bit of a sanctuary too and go in there to decompress and think and pray sometimes. I hope your March is a good one and there is much joy and beauty blooming around you.

I think the work from home movement has lost something in the culture of the office. Not that I ever worked in an office. Pros and cons. I love the flexibility that it allows many people but like you said - you miss that environment, too.
Those tulips are gorgeous!
I am often too trusting, too.

I am the opposite when it comes to trusting people because of past experiences and I am working on trusting people and giving them more of a chance.
I am not a big fan of Shakespeare but I do like some of the movies which are based on his stories.
Your home office looks fab!
I hope all goes well for you in March!
