(Exhibit A- check out Diana's Merrimack Flag- pretty much buried)
Oh boy...how timely...we got two feet of snow Sunday into Monday...and we have more snow expected Sunday- UGH! I hate winter...I try to put a positive spin on everything but right now I got nothing...it definitely affects my mood for sure...
2. Avocados, kale, cauliflower and cottage cheese have all had their time to shine. 2026 brings us the year of the cabbage. Is this a vegetable you like? If so, what are some of your favorite dishes that call for cabbage?
Oh really? That's interesting. I like cabbage in slaw as a topping for tacos or burgers, etc. That's about it. Funny note: I always buy a purple cabbage as part of our fall yard decor. It looks so festive :)
3. Was a Cabbage Patch Doll a part of your childhood? Or maybe your children's childhood? What's a toy trend from your childhood you remember wanting for your own?
Oh My God YES...I was obsessed with dolls and my mom tried so hard to get one for me for so long..I was actually the last girl in my class to get one. Her name was Gwendolyne...she was my first one...just crazy...anyway, when all was said and done, I ended up with 6...kid you not...I just kept asking for them for Christmases and birthdays etc...they were my babies...always knew I wanted a lot of kids..just went about it a little differently ;)
4. Something you've spent a lot of time doing lately?
It's a toss up...reading and scrolling Tiktok...recent guilty pleasure...and I am not apologizing- ha!
5. Somehow it's the last week of January...sum up your month in just three sentences.
It was the most active and busy January we have had in years and I am here for it!
I got to spend some awesome quality time with my people; the best fam and friends around.
We still have Eva's show to look forward to this weekend and that will cap off our dynamite January!

I love the slaw that comes on street tacos. I also love pickled red onions.
Fun questions this week!
me too me too!
Ugh to all of that snow! It's exciting when it first arrives but when it hangs around, not so much.
Aww! I am glad you got a Cabbage Patch Doll eventually!
It does sound like you had a wonderful January!
Funny enough Evan just asked me (like 10 minutes ago!) when the first day of spring was... I told him not until March and he groaned. It just can not come fast enough! Hopefully we can enjoy some warm days in North Carolina next month.
Thanks Kim -it was great for a winter month ;)
I am sure you will! Something wonderful to look forward to!
I love the reminder that spring will eventually arrive! WOW! You've had a lot of the white stuff in your world!
Yes we have- BOO ;)
OMG - that snow! I would be so Over that!
The snow is beautiful, but I can do without the bitter cold. We need the reminder that spring is coming! Hope you're having a great week despite the cold and snow!
That is so much snow! All your Cabbage Patch kids was a fun memory to read about.
Yup it is crazy
Thanks- you too Kym!
Yup- I need spring stat ;)
We used to get feet of snow in North Jersey and it got old pretty fast. If you can get out it's okay, but if you're stuck for days it's wearing. Weirdly we are having actual snow here today. Inches not feet and it will melt much faster than yours. Our dog loves it and so do my grandkids but it's freezing so I'm watching from inside : ) I think a busy January helps. Onward to spring!!
