Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Finds and Vacation Packing

SO...I am finally getting around to trying on my finds and taking pics of the different things I snagged at the most recent Lilly sale in January.

Reason being?  I am getting ready for a girls trip- a nice long weekend in sunny Florida and I want to be prepared with "options."  That is why I have trouble packing lightly.  I can't just pack one outfit per day.  I need a backup plan in case I am not feeling it that certain day.  Anyway, I digress.....

Here are some of the things I snagged and plan on wearing on my little trip! (I apologize in advance for my pasty white skin and the items tossed on the floor as I was organizing and packing)

After sharing my Lilly finds, I am going to share a couple of other outfits I will be including too (not Lilly- I know shocker!) :)

Bay Dress in "No Problem Llama"

The name right?  Oh friends..the names keep getting better!  I love the print on this dress-busy and bright!

Bay Dress (yes again- reminds me of my fave Lilly style dress of all time- the Marlowe) and this one is in "Multi Play That Trunky Music"

My fave find from the sale- lilac and romantic LOVE the print and LOVE the color and can't wait to wear this one!

Essie Dress in "Multi Catch and Release"

The Essie Dress is so so comfy and feminine- I actually have worn it as a coverup in another print in the past (you will see below)

(This Essie Dress was not from this year's sale- it was a purchase two years ago BUT I still love it!  We had Mommy and Me portraits done that summer and I wore it...I wore it to the beach as a coverup and to several other events...it is one of my faves of all time and this print is called "Pink Pout Barefoot Princess"

and here are a few times I wore it- I love how the colors just POP!

Georgia May Palazzo Pants in "Beckon Blue Sparkling Grotto"

This item was not from the sale.  It was a full on Lilly splurge.  Oh I love these pants- so bold- so comfy YET hard to match...both color wise AND style wise.  The sweater ruffle top I got a Dillard's just did not work.  It made the look much too baggy...not flattering.  A white tee is just ok with them but I thought they looked best when I paired them with a plain navy tee.  So...the outfit is so comfy I figured I would wear it on my last day back to the airport...and will probably go with the navy tee but packing the white one just in case :)

Zia Skirt in "Tiki Pink Royal Lime"

Oh is this one bright..and comfy and adorable!  I am having trouble deciding however, if I will pair with a plain white tee OR a knit Lilly top I already have..  I am showing you both and welcome your feedback...packing both of course...like I said...I need options!!  Ha ha!!

(I also included the White Crossbody that I snagged)

Non Lilly Outfit #1

J Crew Factory Yellow Tank and Loft White Kick Crop Capri Jeans (I am most likely going to changes things up with this one- I think I am going to pair this tank with my dark blue cuff capri jeans)

Non Lilly Outfit #2

Blush, Gray and White Outfit

I was so determined to put together an outfit to really blend my favorite color combos lately- that is how I ended up here

I took my Loft white kick crop capri jeans and paired them with a white tank and then topped it all off with a blush ruffle sleeve cardigan and gray suede wedges...oh yeah and a blush handbag to finish the look (carry on!)  This is the outfit I am going to wear on the plane on my way to FLA.

I am also going to pack my Lilly skorts and toss in some tees...you know I really need options!

Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Finds!

So friends...how did you make out?
I have to say this was the best sale yet for me.  It is the best I have done.  I was only #7 logging into the site!  7, can you believe it?

I am usually in the thousands and have to wait an hour.

The site had its challenges as always.  With that much traffic, I think the company does a pretty good job of giving everyone a chance.  I love the virtual waiting room concept.

This time I made my first purchase and then got back in line and that is when the site went down for a bit but honestly, I still did great with three separate purchases, items I wanted and gifts for my mom's birthday!

I cannot complain- when we are getting these kind of sales prices on my beloved Lilly- it's FTW!

So...at first, I snagged two tops and two dresses...but then decided to buy more...can you blame me with 75% off? ;)

I can't show you what I snagged my mom for obvious reasons...but I will show you what I snagged myself :)

Also, let's enjoy the names because face it- that's half the fun! :)

First up the Arya Lace Tank Top in Resort White Bubbly.  I can see myself wearing this with jeans or capris or when it gets more warm, Lilly shorts or a skort :)  I LOVE white, don't you?

and because I LOVE white, this top screamed to me!  I would love to wear it to the beach on vacation this summer.
This is the Audra Top in Resort White...so beachy...so romantic right?

So this top is more casual and one I see wearing around town, doing errands or even going to the beach for a coverup.  It is made up of her Luxletic material which is ideal for loungewear and athletic wear.
It is the UPF 50+ Vero Tunic in Multi Exotic Garden

and this one I know I will wear thousands of times!
It is the Michele V Neck top in Sparkling Blue Fan-tastic- oh this name!!!

and now for the dresses.....

First up, The Irina Shift Dress in Guava Melon Exotic Stripe...Friends, I can't even tell you how long I have been eyeing this dress....I wanted it so much...can't believe I snagged it!

and my favorite dress that Lilly makes....so preppy....so comfy...always so pretty...she comes out with new prints of this dress every season...I had to snag one!
It is the Marlowe Tee Shirt Dress.
This one is in Kir Royale Pink Swept By The Tides

and last but not least, a dress I can wear to either the showers or weddings I have this year....
The Sloane Midi Dress in Bomber Blue Plume Bloom

I can't wait to see your After Party Sale Finds!!

Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale (January 2016)....So How Did You Make Out?

So How Did You Make Out?
All loyal Lilly fans know that her items never go on sale...well never say never.
Twice a year, she has an "After Party Sale"- the two sales are in August and January.

This past August was my first time participating and it was incredible.  I found it fascinating the way you would go to the site and be put into a virtual waiting line.  With patience, everyone gets a shot at some Lilly...and in this day and age, it is the best way to go especially with websites crashing left and right during major sales.

Yesterday was the January sale and although I did not think it was as good as the August sale, I still got some dynamite things.  I thought that everything would be on sale, so I loaded my tote up the day before.  I was disappointed, once I got in, to learn that all of the items were not marked down...so I emptied my tote and started over...still can't get one dress out of my mind so I am sure I will keep an eye on it and hope for the best!

Here is what I snagged....

The 1st item I cannot share, unfortunately, because it is my Mom's bday gift but I got her a BEAUTIFUL classic Lilly dress

The 2nd item is a beautiful top
The Cabana Halter Top in Blue Crush Open Water

The 2nd item is another beautiful top
The Samba Sleeveless Halter Top in Tropical Pink Did You Catch That (the names are half of the fun!)

The 3rd item is a classy dress I thought I could wear to meetings with potential clients and on the weekends!
It is the Layton Shift Dress in True Navy

and the 4th item is a workout top.  I wanted the coordinating pants but by the time I checked out, they were gone...I am now on a hunt!
This is the Luxletic Racer Back Tank in Blue Crush

I then wanted to purchase matching dresses for my girls but every time I added one to my cart, it was gone- frustrating!  Anyway...I started surfing around and found that some of Lilly's signature stores across the country were also running the big sale.
I was able to snag the girls matching dresses at Splash of Pink.  They actually match one of her dresses that I already have too!  Can't wait to coordinate!

Here is their dress: The Mini Palmetto Dress in Multi Toucan Play

and my coordinating dress that I already had :)

Gotta Love Lilly- can't wait to see and read about all of your purchases!
Here are the sites where you can find her beautiful designs:
