For my husband's obsession with our garden....he runs out back any time he thinks a bird is coming close to it-hysterical!

Thankful for a few tomatoes and two cukes but that is all so far...still waiting....

For my daily faith and inspirational scripture that continues to point me in the right direction

For our home....our neighborhood...our town

I was surprised my hubby liked this....not surprised that he liked the chicken...you know...men...the whole meat thing and all

My favorite part?  Yep!

What we liked best was the way the sweet blueberries balanced out the salty feta

yet Diana was not having anything to do with said salad...so i whipped her up a gourmet meal ;)

1st Big Girl Bike....such mixed emotions :/

*There is a picture of my grandmother with her beloved bike that I grew up staring at.  She would regale me with tails about the happiest time in her life, in her prime as she put it, when she would ride all over God's creation on her bike.  Getting this "retro" beach cruiser, I felt the need to have my picture taken.  I need to find that picture of my grandmother because I feel that she inspired me to get this bike...to get more exercise and again, to appreciate the beauty in every day life*

I am thankful for.......

Quality beach time with my baby girl....she enjoys it as much as I do....the ocean is where we experience pure joy

Daily prayers and inspiration to remind me who is in charge

Sounds crazy but being able to make creative dinners and feed my family...nothing warms my heart more than watching my family enjoy a meal that I took time to prepare....trying new recipes...getting help in the kitchen...sitting around the dinner table...catching up on our days...pure Americana and the bond that holds this family together

BEST Vacation Day Ever!

So...took a spur of the moment vacation day today so I could spend QUALITY time with my monkey....

She got up bright and early because she was very excited and we were at the beach by 8:30am!!!

We had SO....MUCH....FUN!!!  We spent so much time boogie boarding and swimming in the ocean.....just bliss

First we stopped at Dunks of course...

then it was time to bake (104 degrees today here in New England)

and surf of course!

Then it was time for some castle-making and sun bathing :)

After lunch and a nap....we headed over to the pool to introduce Ally, Aaron and Zach to the fun we have there

Great Day...Blessed!
