Wednesday Hodgepodge
2. How will you celebrate Independence Day this year? If you live outside the USA answer this question as it relates to your own country's patriotic holiday, wherever that may land on the calendar.
The same way we have for the last several years...up at Laurel and Tom's lake house on Lake Winnipesaukee....we enjoy time out on the boat...lobsters...grilling...great wine....fireworks at night...and just quality time with our people
3. This or that...red, white, or blue? Stars or stripes? Watermelon, home made ice cream, or blueberry pie? How do you feel about fireworks?
All three! If I had to choose one though, it would BLUE
then...
Stars
Anything Blueberry of course :)
LOVE fireworks!
4. What have you purchased recently that made you excited?
Outfits for Diana's Senior Pics...not rushing our summer away but excited for her photo shoot with Amber!
5. I'm thankful to live in America (or fill in whatever country you call home) because____________.
of the freedom and liberty we have been rewarded with...and the true democracy we live in....I am an extremely patriotic person...and very proud of and thankful for where we live
6. Insert your own random thought here.

Savoring
All the summer flavors- fresh berries- corn on the cob- all the fruit- grilled meats
Celebrating
America's Birthday...starting Thursday...
Remembering
My girls....when they were little....definitely a period of reflection and remembering right now
Diana then...
and now...
and Eva then...
and now...
Trying
to enjoy every moment this year...the last one with Diana home...as a wise person recently told me...it is best not to waste the year crying and being sad...instead...enjoy it all...remember it all...and hold onto all the moments

Hello Monday (June 30, 2025)
Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends! Hope you will join us. Here is what our little weekend looked like...
Friday
After work, I hit the rail trail for a quick two mile walk...felt so good to be back...I was slammed this week and didn't get there! It was warm and sunny and summer perfection :)
That night, I met up with my dance mom besties, Tina and Misty. It had been too long! We enjoyed dinner outside at Old School :)
Saturday
It was another rainy, slow start to the day. I grabbed us muffins and some apps for later in the day. We headed to Eva's first game of the weekend...in the rain again.
The parents thought we would change it up this weekend, given it is their last softball of the season. We traded out their regular walk-up songs for their childhood faves...they got a big kick out of our choices- it was really cute!
Then last night, my parents and brother joined us for pizza and we all hit the last game of the day together
The team did so well-won all three games this day!
Sunday
It was softball first thing again! They won again at 8am!
In between games, I headed home to make dinner and get a few errands done.
The next game was at 11:30 and that is where the season ended for us sadly.
Truth be told, our girls played in a bonus tourney this weekend that was comprised of all club teams except for them. They did really well holding their own and it really showed us that we don't need to shell out thousands of dollars to get the same competitive play-ha! We were really proud of them- awesome team and awesome group of girls and coaches!
Last night, after an early dinner, I headed out for my 2nd job to do three showings...though I was tired, I had to rally...nature of the beast right now.
When I got home, I witnessed Remi begging dad for some wings ;)
and that's a wrap! What were you all up to?

Share Four Somethings: June 2025
Hi Friends! I am joining Jennifer for her fun linkup where we share four somethings! We are sharing some things we loved, some things we learned, some things that went well, and some things we let go of this month.
So here we go...
Loved
Picking strawberries with Eva...quality time...beautiful weather to be outside...yummy strawberries to make some fun desserts with...
Learned
Lots about the legal system in the U.S and in Massachusetts specifically as I followed the Karen Read case.
Went Well
A client negotiation. I secured a modified retained agreement with a new client and it wasn't easy. It took about two months and after one No...they crawled back...now to find them the perfect person!
Let Go Of
A few schools off Diana's college list...thanks to our trusty consultant...feels so good to have a professional to lean on and get advice from!
