Hello Monday and Hello Easter Weekend!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  Sarah and I are so glad you stopped by!  Hope you had a wonderful Easter Weekend if you celebrate.  If you blogged about your weekend, link up with us below!

Here is what our Easter Weekend looked like...

Good Friday

A quick coffee/tea with Miss Lea to celebrate her birthday (which was actually yesterday- it fell on Easter this year!) We will celebrate with a friends' dinner in a couple of weeks too :)

Then I worked and after school, Diana got going on Eva's hair and makeup so she could be ready for her and Rob's last ever, Daddy Daughter Dance- My heart!

Then Rob got home to get ready

My friend Lynn hosted pics for a few besties and their dads :)

I headed up to my church for my favorite service- The Living Stations of the Cross- the weather was beautiful and the crowd was bigger than ever.

Rob and Eva had a blast at their last "Dotty Dance"  (named by Diana at Age 2) ;)

We all crashed pretty early to prepare for our busy weekend.

Holy Saturday

Tea to start the day

Then the girls helped me make Resurrection Rolls- their favorite Easter Tradition

When my mom arrived, we got busy coloring the eggs!

Papa Bob  made his famous Banana Fritters and Homemade Claret Sauce!

After that, we made our traditional Birds Nest Cookies and Bunny Breads.  Lots of work and fun :)

That night, Eva, Rob and I headed to the new Becks to check it out. We split a few apps and had fun playing another hysterical game of Psych. It is a great place-can't wait to go back!

 LOVE making Eva laugh ;)

After that, we surprised Diana over at Red's so Eva could enjoy dessert..love these cuties

 This was my dessert- yum!

We crashed pretty heard and early...except for Diana who went out with her crew after work.

Sunday

Happy Easter!  He is Risen!

I was up at the crack of dawn to get our rib roast in the oven and prep a few additional dishes.  Then, it was Easter Basket and Egg Hunt Time

Then it was time to get ready for church!

Mass was just beautiful!  Then we headed home for our traditional brunch!

Wish I got pics of our entire feast- We had rib roast, ham, scalloped potatoes, noodle kugel, fruit salad, Italian salad, bunny breads, deviled eggs, maple bacon, grilled asparagus and then for dessert Mimi's Ricotta Pie and the cookies we made.  We won't be eating for a month- ha!

This is an app I made- spinach dip baked with bread rolls in the shape of a bunny.  My brother made our favorite salsa dip.  We also had the cracker smack I made!

Mimosas with Peeps for Garnish of course

So grateful!  How as your weekend?
