Hello Monday (October 26, 2026)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  Sarah and I are so glad you are here!  If you blogged about your weekend, link up with us!

Here is what we were up to....

Friday

First, just one shot of these cuties Friday Morning before school....Olivia joined our little tradition this week and we grabbed our teas and snapped a quick pic...

On my way back to my home office, I had to snap a couple of pics for you...first our Jack-O-Lantern Tower...at night, the lights are on and it flickers...it is super creepy!

and Remi was waiting impatiently patiently for me to get home and get to work already...ha!

Towards the end of my work day, I had an important client meeting...I spent a good amount of time preparing for our meeting...I am trying to secure a new search that I am really excited about...I should know if I got it by Tuesday...made sure my makeup and top were on point of course ;)

That night, Eva was hitting Screemfest at Canobie again and this time with her Girls' Hockey Team...these girls are on fire...they have surprised the entire organization so they are building a girls' program on what these girls started and they are bringing in the big dogs...so exciting for them.  What I love most is how much they have bonded and they organize activities like this...so I got to drop her off after work and I couldn't believe all of the people there....hundreds and hundreds piling in!  Just crazy...I got FOMO but decided to act my age and go home to meet Rob and enjoy our Friday Night Pizza Night with Remi

We tried a new place in town called Dough Boyz and we loved it!  They had this pizza that was like a margherita only with vodka sauce on it- SO good!  We enjoyed our pizza with a cocktail and maybe a little Hallmark- ha!  I was in the mood for some JOY and Hallmark puts me in a good mood...don't get me wrong, I am loving all of the fall goodness right now but a little extra joy will never go to waste around here...sad I didn't snap one pic this night.

Meanwhile, at "The Gahden", Ally took Diana to the Celtics game and they had a blast :)

Rob stayed up so he could pick up Eva when the park closed at 11.  I headed up early to read, scroll Tik Tok and watch more Hallmark ;)

Saturday

We were up bright and early...I made breakfast for my little fam...skeleton cinnamon rolls and bacon.  I also prepped our food and cocktails for the big MC tailgating...it was family weekend!

At 9:30 we packed up and were on the road.  Eva stayed behind for hockey...another hockey family was taking her to their game.

We got to MC around 10, parked and set up our tailgate.  My parents and brother met us there and we enjoyed catching up and decompressing with: Hot Buttered Rum Cider (you can find my recipe HERE , beer, turkey sandwiches, my mom's taco ring and chicken fingers) It was quite the spread.  We headed into the stadium around 11:30 so we could see Diana and the girls warming up and we could snap a few pics and get some squeezes in

The Praying Always Gets Me

Halftime Routine!

and getting some squeezes in!

It was such an exciting game...Merrimack was playing UNH and they were not favored to win but guess what?  They did!  It was a lot of back and forth which made for the exciting game and even better when they were victorious- winning 24-17!

After the game, she wanted a pic with Rob and me for "the gram"

Then we all walked over to her dorm so my family could see it all decorated.  We loaded her up with some food and drinks and then we were on our way home

It was a long and fun day.  We ate leftovers for dinner and when Eva got home we all crashed pretty early...not before Remi got some play time in..he was like.."hey you guys left me alone for awhile after a pretty traumatic week...the least you can do is play "toss the bun" with me ;)

but he crashed pretty early too :)

Sunday

We took the chance to sleep in and enjoyed a pretty slow morning. I got to see one of my fave Hallmark movies of all time- "The Nine Lives of Christmas".  Then Rob and  I headed to mass.  After  mass, I grabbed a tea and did the grocery shopping. Rob, Eva and his Dad headed down to the south shore of Mass for Eva's hockey game.

I took the day to get organized for the week, meal plan and cook dinner for us.

We are all ready for another busy week...what were you all up to?

I'm so glad that you had a great weekend! I love hearing about Eva and her teammates; the haunted corn maze sounds like they had fun. I know you loved getting to see Diana on Saturday with your family! It's cool that they got to see her dorm room, too. Remi is so cute and snuggly! I need some Hallmark in my life, too. I haven't started watching the Christmas movies yet, but I will after Halloween!
