Hi Friends! Happy Monday and Happy "Summah!" Weeee....we are here! As every other Monday, I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends. If you did, too, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below so we can see what you were up to! C'mon it'll be fun...promise :)
Here is what our little weekend looked like...
Friday Night
It was time for Friday Night Pizza Night but before Diana and I indulged in our pizza and salad, we headed out to do some college shopping. We made stops at 5 Below, Hobby Lobby and Home Goods. We did pretty well!
We headed to 5 Below first because I saw the cutest pink cheetah trash basket that would go well in her room. She and her roommate decided on a pink theme with cheetah accents. Not only did we score the trash basket, but we also found a matching pillow and blanket and a great storage ottoman! She also picked up the cutest little framed print that reads "How Lucky Are We" which are lyrics from one of her favorite Zach Bryan songs.
Our next stop was Hobby Lobby and she got one of those weighted stuffed animals for her bed and a jewelry organizer for her desk/vanity. We spotted this mirror and she said she wanted a full length one of this exact one. So...I started doing my research and found a similar one on Amazon that I will purchase during Prime Days and I ordered a decal, with those exact words, from an artist on Etsy so I will stick the decal on the mirror when it comes in!
After that, we went home to eat then headed out to get a couple of Father's Day essentials and stop at Home Goods. We only picked up a couple of small things for her there- some hangers and a glass holder for Q Tips. We were underwhelmed there.
We will hit Target and Walmart at some point too but we think most of the purchases will happen on Amazon during the big sale next week- fingers crossed!
When shopping was done, we curled up to watch an episode of Smash before Mama feel asleep before 8- ha!
Saturday
It was softball allll day for Pidge! We headed up to Barrington first thing and we were up there for the day- three games with her town tournament team. They lost all three-not a great day but love being on the field and watching my girl do what she loves!
with her Bestie
We got the cutest pics sent to us of Sylvie attending some summer festival- look at our beautiful little patriotic girl- precious!
When we got home, we Door Dashed Reds...we were wiped! Eva had mac and cheese and we enjoyed their awesome Steak Gorgonzola salads. Diana worked and then headed out to two grad parties and had a blast!
We crashed early and hard!
Sunday
Happy Father's Day! and Happy SUMMAH!
These are our 3 GOATs! :)
My Dad Pete
My Father In Law Bob
My Hubby Rob
Rob, Papa and Eva headed up north for more softball. I headed to grab coffee and breakfast sandwiches with Diana and we caught up on her fun night. Then I headed to mass.
When I got home, I caught up on prayers and blogging.
A little while later, the gang was home from softball and...
we celebrated our favorite Dads with Chinese Food and Ice Cream Cake and treats. So sad I didn't get any pics with our Dads but we were able to snap one of Rob and his kids (and granddaughter) :)
So fun! What were you all up to?

Looks like a great summer weekend! Love the tributes to the dads in your life and how fun to have all the kids and grandkids. Sylvie is so cute in her dress and holding the flag. It sounds like you have a great start on items for Diana's dorm room. Amazon will be your friend for sure!! Have a great Monday!
How cute is that little one! I love all the patriotic wear thats out there this year. Sounds like a nice weekend and yay for summer. Glad you're ticking off the shopping list and enjoying time with your girl getting things ready for move in day. Have a great day!
It sounds like a great shopping trip for college stuff. It sounds like a good day of softball on Saturday even if they lost.
Fab photos of the main men in your life!
Dorm shopping with a girl is so much more fun! Ha! I loved that you said "summah" because I just finished Real Housewives of Rhode Island and I enjoyed the accents. I knew no one from RI and I knew nothing about it!
Happy Summah! I smiled when I read that. Your weekend looked fabulous! I hope you have a great day and that your week gets off to a great start, my friend. xoxo
Shopping with your girl and looking for dorm room finds together is such a special time! What did we ever do before Amazon? LOL! Your Father's Day celebration looks wonderful, too! No better gift than having all the kids together!
Preparing for Diana's college dorm sounds so exciting! A Pink Cheetah theme is a unique idea and it must have been serindipity to find a trash can with that theme in 5 Below. That is one of my oldest granddaughter's favorite stores to shop in!
Amazon certainly is one of my besties Maria ;)
Thanks Joyce! They really have some great apparel this year with the 250th right? :)
Thanks Kim- I love watching softball even if they are losing- it means summer is here!
I agree on the dorm shopping- ha! So funny- I may have to watch that season of Housewives!
Thank you Jenn :)
I am not sure where I would be without Amazon Laura- ha!
They have so many cute finds Pat!
