Hello Monday (November 17, 2025)

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  Sarah and I are so glad you are here!  If you blogged about your weekend, link up with us below!  Here is what ours looked like...

Friday Night

We pre-gamed at Fody's and then headed to the early kickoff at 5!

Wish I had better news...this is where the season ended...it was an ugly game...The guys just couldn't overcome Pinkerton...we soaked up every last minute of FNL with the players and our cheerleaders and our favorite fans...will remember this season forever...really reminded me of Zach's Junior Year Season at WHS...nothing like  high school football...we will go to the games next year to cheer on Brooks and that will be fun but nothing will compare to watching our girl do her thing in the middle of all of the excitement!

One last cheer for the Jags

When we got home, we ordered some takeout...ate like we had never been fed and crashed hard...Diana went out with the girls after the game and then got home a little later but I was already snoozing ;)

Saturday

We were up bright and early...I did the meal planning and made the grocery list for Robby B to handle.  Then we headed to Eva's hockey game...I could only stay a little bit as I had to head to an open house

 But....FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON...woohooo!

 Open House Time!

After that, I headed home to nap and watch some Hallmark :) Diana was working- Rob was doing yard work and Eva was chatting with friends.

That night, I headed out to Figaro's to celebrate Kat's bday with some besties

I got the roasted butter fish- it was yummy and came over risotto and asparagus

When I got home, I caught up with my peeps and had to snap a shot of this coziness...Rob put up the deck tree and I love the glow of the lights especially next to the table...already set for Wednesday night as I am hosting wine group :)

 Sunday

We were up bright and early.  Rob and Eva headed up north for a Softball Winter Workout.  Diana and I hit Starbucks and then Home Depot for a few last Christmas decorations for the yard

Later on, I made us a soup and garlic knots...and made a mess of my stove...I do tend to be a messy cook...ha!  I watched "Merry Exmas" on Netflix while I cooked- such a cute movie- check it out!

Rob finished decorating outdoors for me :)

Then yesterday afternoon, Eva, Rob and Papa headed to her hockey game and Mimi and Papa Pete met them there as did Eva's new "boyfriend" and best friend...she had all the love there!

I took Diana to a Cheer Clinic at SNHU....will say it was the best one we have been to yet...the most difficult and challenging for her but she definitely got the most out of it and picked up some new college level stunting skills...she worked her tail off for FOUR HOURS!

After that, we grabbed a quick dinner- pizza and salad... before our final stop of the weekend....but first...the first snow fall...boo

We wrapped up our weekend by heading to the first Windham  Middle School Hockey Game of the Season...Pidge was on a winning streak!  They won 4-2!

Lastly, I wanted to let you know that Monthly Musings will be this Thursday...it is a week earlier this month due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Patty  and I hope you will join us...we are talking all things Thanksgiving and answering the questions below...

Wow-Thanksgiving is next week, isn't it? Lol. I'm not hosting so am not on top of things in that department this year. Sounds like you had a great weekend. Do the cheerleaders cheer for basketball too? So glad it was an extra fun season for your girl! We haven't started decorating for Christmas yet, and normally wait until Thanksgiving but all the pics I'm seeing have me wanting to start now too. Have a great week!

Hi Holly,
I love watching your girls grow and go though different t stages and phases. It seems you do a great job celebrating both of them. Thanks for the hardwork to keep this up.
In past years around the holiday season I believe you shared your mom’s recipe for your favorite cookie. Would you mind sharing that recipe again ? I would love to put it on our baking list . I remember thinking it would be a great one for our holiday. Thanks again!

It looks like such a fun and full weekend! You guys packed so much in! Your meals all look so good, including the one that you made at home. Love all the hockey support. And how ironic (in a good way) that the weekend of Diana's last high school football game to cheer in, she had a great clinic for college cheer. Have a great Monday!

Bittersweet end to FNL. I know how you feel.
I love your Christmas decor - looks so pretty for your hosting this week.
That fish looks great! I feel like restaurants do fish better than I can!

Sorry the final football game didn't end with a win, but it looked like you enjoyed the season overall! That is such a fun season in life. I still remember my own high school years and how fun football season was with my friends. :)

What a weekend! You will always have such fabulous memories of this year of FNL - it's definitely been a special one for you all! Congrats to Eva on her wins AND, my goodness, I had to watch the Stunt 3 video twice! Diana was amazing in them all but her balance and strength were WOW!

Ha! Well glad someone else is hosting for you Joyce! Yes the girls cheer for basketball too but have to try out again which will happen over the next few weeks!

Thank you so much :) Do you mean her fall cookies? The Applesauce Jumbles? If so, I will definitely share. If they are more Christmas cookies, there are so many. Just let me know! You can email me at hbinda@yahoo.com and I can send you recipes!
