Hi Friends, I am joining Joyce's prompt and sharing A Day In The Life. For my day, I documented last Wednesday the 5th...here is what it looked like...
Rob was traveling for work so I was solo with the girls and Remi of course ;)
Alarm was set for 6...got up...got the girls up and got ready for the day.....
Made lunches
Fed the dog and took him out
Made My Tea and Did My Prayers and Daily Devotionals while snacking on my Gruns Greens
Said Goodbye to Diana, got Eva on the bus and hit the Rail Trail for a walk first thing
Did some blog reading and dove into work by 8 am
At lunchtime, I fed the dog and took him out then I nibbled while making dinner for the girls- on tap: Boneless Pork Chops, Boursin Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Apple Sauce
Also ran to Staples to do an Amazon return and pick up a surprise ;)
Back at my desk and ready to rock for the afternoon...
Got a new JOB ORDER so that put a pep in my step that afternoon for sure...woohooo!!!
That evening, I brought Diana to her meeting with her College Consultant and while she was in her meeting, I ran through the drive through for a Decaf Protein Vanilla Latte...fueled me while I worked from the car
and I wrapped up my day by attending a travel event for Laurel...enjoyed a mini lobster roll and some wine with some besties as we listened to some info about Holland America cruises
Papa took Eva to hockey for me and Diana had cheer practice....we all met up at home and crashed hard...Rob arrived home while we were sleeping :)
So that's....a Day In The Life

So fun to read about your day! You are crushing it in the mom department and the work department- so impressive!!
I haven't tried the Boursin mashed potatoes but they sound good. You have a good routine of walking every day. I need to get back into mine, the ankle has thrown me but now I'm just out of the habit and need to get back to it. My hubs traveled a lot for work and it's not easy doing all the things solo I know. And now I'm craving a lobster roll. Have a great day!
You are too kind my friend- just trying- failing all the time but will always keep trying :)
If you are ever up here, I will make you a great lobster roll :)
Your food always looks so good - boursin mashed? Yum! The rail trail is awesome! So fun reading this!
I always love reading these posts! Such fun to get a glimpse into your life... you are juggling your different roles so well and still finding a bit of time for self care, too!
I so appreciate Joyce hosting this fun link-up because it is interesting to meet new people while they are just living life. You are definitely a busy working mom. Your walking path is lovely, especially this time of year. You must live in the northeast. I think I must try the boursin mashed potatoes for dinner tonight. Sounds delicious.
What a nice sounding dinner. Love that trail. You had a good productive day. Happy Day in the Life!
That sounds like a fun day; and you can't beat one that ends with lobster rolls and info about cruising!
It sounds like such a busy day, especially the morning. I don't miss getting the girls ready for school.
Congrats about the job order!
Take any kind of mashed potatoes- homemade or store bought- grab one circle of Boursin- put the cheese in the middle of the potatoes- heat for a few minutes- stir- HEAVEN
Thanks for the positive words Laura- these are some of my favorite posts to read too!
Yes the Northeast! A little cold for my liking but I am a lifer who may move south one day :)
Thank you Ellen- you too!
Very true- perfect meal to end the day :)
Thank you Kim!
I love day in the life posts!! And Boursin mashed potatoes sound fabulous!
They are delish!
This sounds like a good productive day. I love how you schedule time for things. I need to set a time for exercise. Maybe in 2026?
I love reading day in the life posts, so this was a fun one to follow along! You are so productive in the morning. I wish I could get a walk/workout in before school. Dinner looks delish! I even like seeing what errands people run. haha
I try...never perfect...work in progress :)
I do too Jen! It is so fun :)
