Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends. Hope you will join us!
Here is what our last 2025 Summer Weekend looked like...
First Thing Friday
Took my girls to breakfast real early, before cheer practice for Diana...a way to say bye to a wonderful summer
Friday Night
Pidge got her Back To School Hair Cut by the lovely and talented Taylor....she looks so grown up...I can't take it!
Then we all headed down to Mimi and Papa's to celebrate Papa's and Diana's Bdays...we enjoyed Mimi's homemade calzones, Chinese, Japanese and Mimi's Homemade Pudding Cake- we were stuffed! It was a great celebration full of laughs as always (and I was being attacked all night-primarily by my kids-that wasn't fun but hey)
Saturday
Eva and Rob headed to her Club Team Softball Practice. I met up with Cass for coffee as she just got home from bringing Alexis to college- I was very proud of her- she did so well- probably much better than I will- eek!
Diana headed out with Cat for a pre-bday celebration
I came home and got some real estate work done and then I met Rob and Eva at the party after practice. It was the first time I was introduced to Eva's new club team families and I got really excited because they welcomed us in with open arms- they are some great families- so warm and I know we will have lots of fun together!
We even introduced them to our Crack Bars- big hit
This is the only pic I happened to snap all day...
That night, Diana worked and we headed over to Red's to visit her and have a quick dinner. When we got home...someone was looking to snuggle :)
Wish I had snapped the pics of the meals I made- Chicken Broccoli and Ziti, Rigatoni with Shrimp and Vodka Sauce, Chicken Parm and Bowties with Marinara. We also had two kinds of salad and garlic bread
For dessert, we had cupcakes and then we sang Diana Happy Birthday with the little cake I got to match the theme
After that, we let Diana have some friends over and we didn't get much sleep...so extra caffeine is needed this morning! What were you all up to?

What a great weekend! Love the all the birthday festivities; it looks like Diana had a lovely day. Your family pics are all so good. You outdid yourself with the meal. I can't believe you made all that food- so much work and I hope you have leftovers so you don't have to cook tonight :). Have a great Monday!
What an amazing weekend! Happy belated birthday to your sweet girl. The dinner sounds amazing! I hope you have a great day, my friend. Happy Monday!
Looks like a fun full weekend and your meals sound delicious. Happy birthday to your lovely Diana! Have a great week!
Thank God we do Maria! I am not cooking at least a couple of days this week! :)
Thank you my friend :)
Thank you Joyce- you too! :)
Happy birthday to your 17 year old! Diana is beaming in all the photos and your Pidge looks adorable with her new hair cut! The Cheer Dinner turned out beautifully - what a great way to kick off a new year! Happy Monday!
What a fabulous weekend! Diana sure looks like she was celebrated so much for her birthday (as it should be!). The senior kick off night looks like it went off fabulously. I definitely always think of you as the hostess with the mostess!
