Hello Monday (February 17, 2025)

 

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends!  Did you write about your weekend today?  If so, grab our graphic above and link back up with us below- c'mon...it'll be fun!

 

Here is what our little winter weekend looked like....

 

Friday (Valentine's Day)

Love leaving little treats for my girls and a Valentine for my love....then it was tea time and this day also  meant Heart Shaped Protein Blondies :)

 

 Lunch Time was Remi's Favorite Time because it meant time for the RAIL TRAIL :)

 

 

Friday Night

 

Our parents and my brother came over for Friday Night Pizza Night and My Mom made her amazing antipasto to go with the pizza....we enjoyed some laughs talking about the high school drama....and then we all headed to the high school to enjoy some more...ha ha!  We headed to the Varsity Basketball Game where Windham was taking on Portsmouth (my favorite town in America AND the #1 team in the division)...Diana was cheering of course and the game was SOOOO EXCITING...Windham pulled out the win in overtime!  It was incredible!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Saturday

 

It was so nice to have a slow morning of watching some of the series "Murder Under The Friday Night Lights"- Great docuseries in case you like documentaries AND high school football

 

I also did the meal planning and blogging and prayers and cooking

 

 Then it was time to head to Diana's Cheer Competition in the next town over

 

 

It was fun to get out of the house and go enjoy the various teams but watching Diana and her team rock the mat was the best part of the day.  They are in D1 and out of 13 teams, they placed 5th.  It was their first comp of the season and they had a couple of dropped stunts and still did well.  Excited to see how they improve this season BUT we loved watching them- they amazed us- check them out

 

 

 

 Then when it was awards time, we were all shocked and so excited when Diana won the award for BEST JUMPS in the whole competition- woohoo!  My favorite part was how happy she was :)

 

 

 

 

 Such a great afternoon!  We drove home in the start of a snowstorm and enjoyed individual chicken pot pies that I made for dinner :)

 

 

Sunday

 

We were snowed in most of the day.  Daddy did a great job clearing us out while I did some cooking and watched more of the Murder/FNL series.

 

I read our town paper and spotted a pick of Diana at a basketball game...jumping of course!

 

 

Then, last night, when Diana headed to work, I headed to meet my besties for a little Galentine get together :)
