Hi Friends and Happy Friday! We made it! Woohoo!
As always, sharing a few faves from our week...
Rail Trail
Yes..all year long but there is something about the Fall...the golden light...the glow..the orange....ahhh
Fro Yo
When there is a half day, a fro yo date is a must!
My Hubby
So proud of him ...he had a great conference up north and I saw his company post this pic!
My Bub and Faithful Companion
Remi gave us a big scare and I am almost crumbled completely...French Bulldogs are prone to spine issues and a disease called IVDD. One morning he was shaking and hanging his head and wouldn't come to see us in the kitchen which is so so wrong and not him at all...Rob rushed him to the emergency vet...they couldn't find any issues just yet but said it could be the start of spinal trouble...he is on meds and ordered to "rest." Friends? That is like telling me to rest...and he has more energy than I do! He loves to jump on the beds and run up and down the stairs...jump on the couches...you get it. For now, we have our upstairs blocked off with our kitchen chairs...he still gets up on the couch here and there but he is much less mobile for the next few weeks until he finishes his meds...we have to keep him mobile and healthy...I would die without him :/ I am glad he is ok for now and we have caught things early
Holding On To "The Beach"
Any way I can my friends....

Have an amazing weekend friends! XO

I love your BEACH sweater and good job with continuing your walks. Fall is just perfection.
Omg about Remi. Look into vitamins or a food supplement. I can only imagine how hard it is to make him rest.
Thanks Amy- I know- I may look into things- he just can't take much- his allergies are wild- he is pretty much a plant-based dog- ha!
Seeing the seasons change at the Rail Trail is fantastic! Well done to your husband with the conference!
Aww! Poor Remi! I hope he is doing much better now. What a scare for you all.
Fall colors and Froyo are great favorites! I am so glad Remi is okay. Enjoy your weekend!
Aw, that must have been so scary! And yet I know just what you mean about keeping him "calm" and down. Good luck with that. I have been loving fall hikes/walks this whole month. I'm still so jealous that your rail trails are paved. Ours are crappy gravel and not all that fun to walk on in very large sections.
Poor Remi (and you!) Our dog had a similar issue. Luckily he healed after some rest. He had pain pills and muscle relaxants. It took a few weeks. I hope Remi has a similar recovery. It's so scary! Here's the post I wrote: https://txtanya.blogspot.com/2025/03/albie-has-back-problems.html
That's cool about the skin tightening gel. I will look into that. Sorry about Remi- must be so hard to see him not as active as his usual self. The trail is looking so nice in the fall- what a joy to walk in beautiful weather in a beautiful surrounding.
Thanks Kim- he is doing better-thank you!
I thought of you when we went for Fro Yo Marilyn :)
It is such a challenge Joanne- thank you- if you are ever up here, we should hit our rail trail together!
Thank you Tanya- I will check out your post XO
The beauty is helping me get over the end of summer Maria :)
Oh gosh, I hope Remi is ok. Hugs.
Patty

Thank you Patty
Thanks Jen!
