Hi Friends! Patty and I are so glad you stopped by! Today we are talking all things last minute planning and holiday prepping. We hope you will join us as we answer these questions...
Here we go...
1. What do you do about last minute gifts you forgot to buy?
I either hop on Amazon for an item or two or hit my local Walgreens which has everything
2. Favorite last minute holiday recipe?
Take a brick of cream cheese and pour a jar of pepper jelly over it. Serve it with crackers- delish and festive- that easy
3. Favorite Part of the Holiday Season So Far?
Probably My Favorite Things Party- everything was still happy here- we were blissfully unaware
4. Best Stocking Stuffer/Small Gift?
This year I would say some items I scored at Sephora for my girls' stockings
5. Favorite Holiday Sweet Treat?
My Moms Christmas Cookies
6. Will you make a New Year's Resolution?
No but I have already chosen my word for 2025 and I'm switching up some goals as we enter the college planning era
7. Do you use a planner? Paper or electronic?
No I don't- It is all about the Microsoft Outlook Family Calendar for us
8. Stay up until midnight or sound asleep when the ball drops?
I am usually awake surrounded by family and friends and this year I will make sure I am so I can finally say goodbye to one of my worst years ever
9. What Do You Do on New Year's Day?
Usually a lunch or brunch with the girls and not much else
10. Are you taking time off in December?
No...not really..outside of Christmas

Your mention of Walgreens to get items reminds me that we have a small, local pharmacy near our house that sells all sorts of items and it's a good go to for last minute items. I'm sorry your 2024 has not been a good one; your joy, positivity, and authenticity throughout the year has been appreciated by me. Thanks for the link up!
Cream cheese and pepper jelly is a staple in my family!! I hope 2025 is a great year for you! Merry Christmas❤️💚
I love the cream cheese and jelly! I do it a lot around the holidays!
Sending you love and hugs. Of course we both made our easy appetizer out of a block of cream cheese. I love pepper jelly. Sending you Good vibes for 2025.
Not to minimize whatever has happened in your life, but our superintendent of schools just lost his wife to cancer. And another family in the community had a child pass away. Take time to process your feeling while you are counting your blessing.
I am sorry 2024 has been so hard. I am praying for you and as someone said above, your blog usually radiates joy (not in a fake way, but a real way) so thank you for that. I hope 2025 will be a year of joy for you. And also, I don't need a last minute dish but now I want to try cream cheese and pepper jelly. Yum!
2025 will be better for you. Thanks for hosting.
Oh I love cream cheese and pepper jelly, but I never thought about how festive it looks on a cheese board - good idea! Happy Holidays!
Whatever you have gone through or are going through please know prayers are being said for you and your family. Life is wonderful and beautiful but it can also kick you in the gut when you least expect it. Life can just be hard! I appreciate you keeping it real!
As we move into 2025 I am praying things look brighter for you....i believe they will! Sending hugs from the Midwest :)
