Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I am here with Sarah and we are chatting about our weekends. If you blogged about yours, grab our graphic above and link back u with us below. C'mon..it'll be fun!
It was a rainy early morning at the rail trail but still so peaceful!
After a day of work....we packed up the car and headed to Mimi and Papa's to celebrate Papa Pete's 83rd Birthday!
Mimi took Diana shopping for school clothes for her birthday and it was errand time for the rest of our fam.
Once we got home and unpacked, I ordered Chipotle for Pidge's lunch and she went to hang out with Papa Bob.
Then Rob and I took off for the big city (Boston) to celebrate our 20th Anniversary..
We checked into our hotel...check out this awesome little view from our room...
Then we unloaded our bags and walked next door to the Blackmoor Bar and Kitchen for a cocktail and a snack
Then walked around towards the Garden...we happened upon another cute little place called the Alcove and enjoyed another cocktail with some amazing oysters!
The Famous Zakim Bridge
Then walked on over to the Converse store, beneath their corporate offices, and snagged some sneakers to surprise the girls for back to school :)
Then we walked back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner...shot of the "Gahhhden" on our way back
On our way to our anniversary dinner (thanks Mum and Dad) waiting for our Uber :)
Upon arrival, Tuscan Kitchen, surprised us with an Anniversary Toast!
and we LOVED our meals- I got the halibut and Rob got the short rib- delish
and we shared the espresso cake for dessert!
After that, we Uber'd back and crashed...ha! It was cozy and that was my favorite part...watching tv and catching up and decompressing-it was such a relaxing little getaway
We were up bright and early- checked out and headed home to get our Sunday organization done.
Robby B and Pidge headed to hockey. Diana and I headed to Nutrition Corner and then I brought her and her friend Brooke to Troy's for bowls for lunch.
We relaxed for the afternoon and Robby B did some work on the pool.
Last night...Papa Bob took the family out to celebrate our anniversary...one last celebration...it was a great way to end the weekend!
What were you all up to?
