Hi Friends! Patty and I are so glad you stopped by! We hope you will join us for our fun little link up...this month we are talking ALL THINGS SUMMER and we are answering the questions below...
Here we go...
1. Share Your Summer Plans
We have a pretty chill summer on tap...Diana is in Driver's Ed...she has some team workouts planned and most likely will do two weeks of theater camp. Eva has 5 weeks of theater camp on tap as well as softball and hockey. Mum and Dad will be working but we have a few fun things planned- time at our friends' lake houses- a girls weekend and hopefully some relaxing time at our pool and a few trips to the beach!
2. What Are Your Summer Traditions?
4th of July Fireworks in our town this week...4th of July at Tom and Laurel's on the Lake...Mommy Daughter Boogie Boarding Day..Berry Picking...Beach Time!
3. Do You Prefer The Ocean Or A Lake?
The Ocean ALWAYS :)
4. Do You Have Any Pool Time Planned?
Umm...since we have one in our back yard...YES...as much as possible...can't wait to float!
5. Best Travel Or Packing Tips?
Packing Cubes...pack light...I should really follow my own advice...ha!
6. Favorite Summer Movie?
I would have to say Jaws and that is due to my hubby and BFF's obsessions/biggest fears- ha!
7. Beverage That Says Summer To You?
A few- Iced Coffee- Sauvignon Blanc or Frose :)
Find my Frose Recipe HERE
8. What Song Says Summer To You?
Boys of Summer by Don Henley
9. What Do You Like On Your Burgers Or Dogs?
Ketchup and Mustard or a fun jam on my burgers sometimes too
10. Charcoal or Gas Grill?
Well we usually eat off gas grills but I would say Charcoal- nothing beats that flavor!
Can't wait to read all about YOUR Summer Loves :)
and here is our schedule and topics for the rest of 2024!
I feel like I hardly even remember what food cooked on a charcoal grill tasted like! But it definitely has it's own distinct smell and taste. I would be in that pool all the time if we had one! I've tried for upwards of 10 years to get my husband to put on in but I've given up... now that the kids are older it hardly seems worth the effort or the cost.
ReplyDeleteYour traditions are all such fun ones and I always enjoy it when you write about them. Your backyard scream summer and I know that you and your family love and enjoy it- who wouldn´t? Thanks for the link up- will try to finish my post soon :).
ReplyDeleteLove the ocean! Thanks for co-hosting Monthly Musings.

I love the smell of a charcoal grill, but gas is easiest. I am a fan of packing cubes too. I love the beach but we live on a lake so I am going with lake. No Jaws worries there lol. Our lake is crystal clear too, so maybe if it were muddy like many lakes are I wouldn't love it so much. I hope you take pictures of your mother daughter boogie boarding! Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have some great plans for the summer. Those Froses look so good and refreshing! Hope you have a wonderful summer!
